Z͠a̛'l͘ga̶t҉ot̡h, better known as Z̤͂â̢ḷ͊g̹̓ȯ̘ and also The One, is an iconic and malevolent, demonic figure on forums of the internet regarding many speculations of his mentioned name, achieving a legendary status as an urban legend and a subject of numerous memes. Many perceive him as the embodiment of chaos and evil, drawing comparisons to the later interpretations of the renowned horror writer H.P. Lovecraft.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- He is responsible for numerous deaths via his manifestions on internet forums. These deaths lead up to horrifying results such as the victims gradually losing their limbs, with said limbs being replaced with spontaneously growing tentacles. Shortly afterwards, their eyes are drained by the same influence, with said eyes bleeding excessively during the process. Shortly afterwards, they can no longer talk coherently, with any form of speech being replaced with indistinguishable symbols or babbling noises. Later on, their faces and bodies become horrifically mutated in unimaginable, bloody and gruesome ways. Afterwards, the victims are unable to do anything.
- What makes this worse is that the victims don't react (or no longer react) to what is happening to them.
- The process is also more gradual than one would think, with some of the victims noticing the events unfolding, even if it is too late.
- There are some cases where Z̤͂â̢ḷ͊g̹̓ȯ̘ will "skip" parts of the process, like his announcement, and immediately twists anything into whatever he wants. This also makes him responsible for torture.
- It is prophecied that one day, Z̤͂â̢ḷ͊g̹̓ȯ̘ would break out of his glass palace, where he would then destroy all of humanity, and the entire world as we know it, thus attempting omnicide.
- Zalgo, when at his peak, is stated should the Seventh Song be sung everything in the Creepypasta Reality will be destroyed unmaking the totality of existence and reality into a world of utter nothingness which seems to refer to all parallel universes and Higher-Dimensions within Creepypasta based on the Latin version which according to several sources runs on String Theory and can contain Infinitely-Layered Structures such as Hell and The Library

- He has little to no personality, thus leaving it ambiguous at best. Aside from Z̤͂â̢ḷ͊g̹̓ȯ̘ being evil and incredibly cataclysmic, there doesn't seem to be anything beyond that.
Exclusive to the Something Awful Forums[]
- Despite being rather heinous, he came from a meme created on the Something Awful forums, meaning he was never meant to be taken seriously, which prevents him from being either Pure Evil or Near Pure Evil.
Exclusive to Creepypasta[]
- He has a complete lack of moral agency due to being the personification of chaos, evil and the Apocalypse.
