"Yandere" Katara is the titular main protagonist of AvatarZilla's Avatar fanfic of the same name. She is a high school girl who is madly in love with Aang and will do anything to make him hers even if it means to kill other girls who make an attempt to flirt with him.

What Makes Her Heinous?[]
- She got very jealous whenever any girl made an attempt to flirt or try to get on Aang's good side, to the point of giving them a death threat (even if Aang only had eyes for only her in the first place).
- She made Aang drunk so that he'll be too tipsy to go to a meeting with Koko.
- She made a ball of water and put it all over Koko's head, depriving her of any oxygen, and causing her to lose consciousness, to the point she asphyxiated and died. She later put Koko's corpse into the pool so that her friends nor the authorities found out.
- She pressed a handkerchief with chloroform towards On Ji's face, causing her to pass out and put her on her trunk and drove away with her car.
- She strapped On Ji on a chair and tied her up with a rope and then slapped her face to wake her up.
- She started to kill On Ji by jabbing icicles on her legs and her right shoulder and pulled her hair as a method of torture, and jabbed a hundred icicles to her whole body, including her arms, hands, legs, feet, torso, abdomen and her back, and then impaled her head with a gigantic icicle.
- She burned down the building where she killed On Ji by spraying flammable fluid onto her corpse and lit it up with a utility lighter and did the same to her car.
- She pulled Meng's hair and slammed her on the ground, and later bloodbended her to death.
- She challenged Jin to a duel to the death.
- She gave very hard ice punches towards Jin barely allowing her to breathe or see and then threw a large rock at her.
- She seduced Hahn into making him think she's gotten over Aang, only to reveal that she and Aang were planning on killing him, she started by giving him the same ice punches she used on Jin, she later bloodbended his privates frozen until he died.
- Because this was a fanfic with an alternate universe where the 100-year war did not happen, she did not have to compete with the other villains in the series. Even if this were the case, she would still have less resources than any of them, making her stand out, with the only one competing with her being possibly Jet, but even then, Jet had more resources as he was the leader of a group, while Katara only had herself.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She genuinely loved Aang, respecting his opinions and choices and calming him down in a few situations, and she also disliked the other girls that tried to get close to him, partially because he felt uncomfortable near them.
- She was affable towards her friends, such as Toph, Zuko, Suki, and showed care for her brother Sokka, having mostly positive interactions with all of them and taking their ideas and feelings in consideration.
- She was genuinely tragic and sympathetic as her mother died before she was able to tell her about how it felt to be in love, and was constantly harassed and bullied at school, until Aang saved her, explaining why she's obsessed over him.
- Even though this did not fully justify her actions, this still held up to a slight degree.
- She had standards against hiding something from a significant other, as she was angry at Aang for hacking in a tracking device in her phone without her permission.
