I no longer believe in humanity. I would see it destroyed. Send someone to convince me otherwise.
~ X's broadcast.

X is the main antagonist of the story Super Human written by Nicole Yoon. He is a former superhero, who after a crushing incident which acted as the final straw, turned evil, with a goal to end humanity.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

  • Wanted to kill all humanity, and expressed this desire clearly through his broadcast.
  • Through said broadcast, he said he would spare humanity if he could be convinced. This would make him honorable, but the story makes it clear he already made up his mind before he made the broadcast, rendering it invalid.
  • While he is a victim of systematic discrimination, his end goal of complete genocide would include people who had nothing to do with it.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He is treated with so much sympathy by the narrative, he cannot be Near Pure Evil or Pure Evil. Many of his loved ones became victims of police brutality and discrimination, even him, which turned him into a misanthrope. It comes to a point where the story outright says "his anger is justified" multiple times, and Syrita nearly gives up trying to save humanity when she realizes why X became evil.
  • He is affable towards Syrita, treating her well and promising not to hurt her.
  • He cared for his family, being hurt by his loss of his uncle and brother, and somberly mentioning his also deceased mother.
