Wyrm is a minor antagonist in the 2012 series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He serves as the main antagonist in the episode titled "The Weird World of Wyrm."
Wyrm is one of the three Creators of Chaos and is recognized as the most powerful Wyrm across all ten dimensions. He is currently trapped in a fifth-dimensional prison and has attempted to manipulate others into making three wishes to free him. His ultimate goal is to escape his prison and unleash as much chaos as possible.
He was voiced by Dwight Schultz.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- It is heavily implied that he caused the ship carrying his prison to be destroyed considering it was told by Donnatello that the ship was destroyed from a blast from the inside, to lure people into making wishes for him.
- Upon being freed from his prison, he destroyed an innumerable amount of planets in just a few seconds, in which the destruction of at least 20 were seen, to wreck havoc and chaos all across the multiverse.
- He tried to kill the Turtles in very gruesome ways.
- While the destruction of the planets do end up reversed by the end of the episode, it was made very clear that Wyrm intends to cause as much chaos as he can all across the universe which is by destroying multiple planets when he is freed, so he is still above the baseline. The majority of the villains don't have as large attempted kill count as Wyrm with the exception of Overmind so even by the very high Heinous Standards of the series, he still easily stands out.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Unlike most of the very heinous villains in the series, whose crimes have all been played dead seriously with barely anything comedic about them, Wyrm is far too comedic to be NPE, as his entire screen time is dedicated for playing him for laughs with even the destruction of multiple planets being played as a joke.
Trivia[]
- Wyrm is, alongside Agent Bishop, Krang, Shredder, Superfly and Baron Draxum, one of the six characters in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise to be Inconsistently Heinous.
- The character he was based on and inspired by, the Wigglenog from Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! cannot count as Inconsistently Heinous due to never having destroyed any planets, relying on Fridge Horror for his galactic conquest and failing the heinous standards to the Skeleton King, the Dark Ones, The Commodore, the Vreen and the Evil Force.
