William Afton, better known as Dave Miller, is the main protagonist-villain of the video The entire FNAF lore in a nutshell, by ViperSLASH.
As an adaptation of Dave Miller from Dayshift at Freddy's, this video is a comedic summary of the lore of the mainline Five Nights at Freddy's story.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]
The entire FNAF lore in a nutshell[]
- Killed the daughter of his best friend, Henry Emily, by making her cry so hard she died, and then hid her corpse inside some garbage.
- Didn't even acknowledge the death of his child, the Crying Child.
- He lead five children into a trap and revealed his face to them, making them cry so hard they died.
- Upon seeing the Puppet give life to the missing kids, he plotted to gain immortality using souls.
- Made the Funtime animatronics to kill children, leading to the death of his daughter Elizabeth.
- Killed five more kids in the new Freddy's restaurant "for doing nothing" so he could extract their souls.
- Attacked and destroyed both the Withered and Toy animatronics sans Mangle, and although the Withered animatronics would get revived later, the Toys stayed dead.
- He tried to steal the souls of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy to become more immortal, with Bonnie's wording implying they would stay in his body for eternity.
- When the four robots refused, he killed them using the Dave Miller Style Eggplant Punch.
- Taunts Golden Freddy through dancing in the Spring Bonnie suit, leading to his first defeat after witnessing Golden Freddy's true power.
- Sent his son, Michael, to Circus Baby's to free Elizabeth, and he didn't do it himself simply because he hated the fact she says "Daddy" every time she sees him, leading to his death and resurrection as a zombie.
- It's shown the child murders drove Henry to depression, which he recovered from only to avenge his daughter’s death.
- He escaped Hell itself by simply claiming he always comes back so that he can continue his murders.
- Transformed Vanessa into Vanny so she could bring him back into his physical body.

How to use the Eggplant Punch?[]
- He blows up Blue, a Minecraft version of himself, Ban Ban, Huggy Wuggy and a Noob with a rocket launcher.
- He kills Freddy Fazbear with his aubergine thrust.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He's a parody made to be a humorous exaggeration and summary of his canon counterpart.
- He has moral agency issues, as he's only evil because he received brain damage that caused his brain to turn upside down after an eggplant fell on his head.
- He has respect for Golden Freddy, outright saying he's good because he almost got him killed.
- is also revealed in "How to use the Eggplant Punch?" he respects multiple other people, including Kirby, Soldier and Roronoa Zoro.
- While he's annoyed at the fact she keeps calling him "Daddy", it's implied he does care for his daughter Elizabeth as he got Mike to free her soul, and was surprised when Mike claimed there is no clown in Baby's.
- When his brain is repaired, he redeems himself near-instantly to defeat and kill the Blob, sacrificing his life and being heavily implied to have freed all the souls in the process.
- He can be considered tragic, since in the sequel video is revealed he was bullied by people and birds just for looking weird.
