Wazir Kale, better known as The Maelstrom, is a supporting antagonist in HITMAN 2, appearing as the main target of its fourth mission "Chasing a Ghost". in Mumbai India alongside Dawood Rangan & Vanya Shah, he is an elusive pirate who has for years been robbing people in the South China sea & helps Lucas Grey.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- Joined the crows street gang and worked himself to the top.
- When the Mumbai Mafia disbanded his gang, Kale was recruited and worked his way to the top too, then for revenge for his gang he killed the Mafia bosses which disbanded the mafia and then fled Mumbai.
- Robbed and presumably killed hundreds of people on ships in the South China sea, stealing fuel and selling it on the black market, eventually getting too reckless.
- When he got too reckless, he hijacked a supertanker, which got Chinese elite forces to storm the ship and massacred most of Kale’s crew except for himself, Dawood Rangan & Vanya Shah, which made Kale take a darker turn to make sure he will kill the rich westerners who destroyed his crew.
- Recreated the Crow gang & took control of the slums in Mumbai.
- Joined Lucas Grey in his quest to destroy Providence.
- He killed lots of providence operatives in Asia including a Providence CEO in Shanghai which made him get sights on from the ICA.
- Hogs one of the areas of the slums and doesn’t let anyone inside.
- Has civilians and guards spy on Dawood & Vanya.
- Oversaw assassin “The Kashmirian”'s killings his childhood friends Dawood & Vanya who themselves put a assassination contract on each other, because they lost their way and to protect his legacy after that's done, Kale will recruit the assassin into his gang.
- When held at gunpoint by 47 he will try to pass himself off as a nobody.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is surprisingly very affable to everyone.
- He was in love with a woman named Neha. and even after breaking up with her he has men guard her.
- He’s tragic as he was orphaned at a young age and built his way to the top of the crows gang which got forcefully disbanded by the Mafia, who he himself helped disband the mafia later, after that most of his pirate crew got killed in a failed raid.
- He cared for his crows as their disbandment was his motivation to destroy the Mafia.
- He cares for his pirate gang.
- He’s an extremist who wants to destroy Providence and get back at the rich westerners who killed his crew.
