His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Heinous?[]
- She organizes a concert in the ruins of Elegia for the purpose of trapping everyone involved there in Uta's world, even those who only listen or watch broadcasts from afar.
- She plans to trap them so they could stay there forever with her. While admittedly and at first it isn't such a bad experience since she can entertain them, people start pointing out the nonsense of the concert and demand Uta to send them back to the real world.
- Uta doesn't listen to the crowd's concern and continues the event while capturing pirates, including the Straw Hats and gluing them to music strings.
- People affected by Uta's singing, on top the fact that they can't get out of Uta's world, their bodies in the real world are in a comatose state. Even worse, Uta intends to kill herself by exhausting herself while eating a special kind of mushroom that keeps her awake, but drains her stamina to the point of death so the people will never get out of there. Even worse, as Rob Lucci says, it is estimated that seventy percent of the world's population is trapped.
- Uta turns the complaining crowd into immovable toys so they stop rebelling.
- Albeit deserved, she makes an example out of Charloss and beats him so she could show that everyone's equal in her imaginary world.
- She unleashes Tot Musica in the final parts of the movie, risking for millions, possibly billions of people to be killed.
- She attempts to kill Luffy on at least two occasions to show the End of Pirates Era.
- And finally, she summons and merges with Tot Musica to defeat the pirates and marines in both worlds.
- Despite the high heinous standards of One Piece, this version of Uta is part of a non-canon movie meaning she doesn't have to compete to the likes of Doflamingo, Hody Jones or Akainu and sets the heinous standards alongside Tot Musica.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She's far too tragic and sympathetic for NPE. As an infant, she was kidnapped and rescued by Shanks. When Shanks saw the potential in her singing, he goes with her to Elegia to pursue a career as a musician. When she accidentally summons Tot Musica, it would start killing everyone she loved and met there, except her caretaker Gordon. Shanks defeated the demon and had to come up with an excuse to tell Uta so that she'd stop being a pirate and be a world renowned diva. Uta was lied to by Gordon that Shanks destroyed Elegia, which filled her with rage and hatred. Said emotions would torment her for years due to Tot Musica's influence over her to the point of a mental breakdown amidst incident.
- She's an anti-villainous grey-zoned extremist because despite her methods, she only wanted to make everyone happy and was willing to kill herself so they would never experience the cruelty of the real world again.
- She proves to have standards, as she disdains the Celestial Dragons just as much as the others because of their cruelty. She also has an understandable hatred for pirates and their evil.
- She has a couple of Pet the Dog moments, such as healing 2 guards shot by Charloss or attempting to save a man from a gun wound.
- She also cares for Luffy and Gordon, despite attempting to kill them, only doing so because of Tot Musica's corruption. She also attempts to reunite with Luffy, only to be taken away by the demon.
- She eventually comes to terms with Shanks and feels sorry for not trusting him, expressing that he missed him.
- She has moral agency issues due having been corrupted by Tot Musica for a long time, explaining her murderous tendencies.
- And finally, she redeems herself by undoing the power of her DF and freeing everyone from Uta's world.
- Her last moment in the film portrays her in a sympathetic fashion as she departs away with Shanks.
