This my first removal proposal after bringing it up on Discord for reasons I will get into this proposal here.

What’s The Work?

The Heisei Godzilla films specifically for this candidate Godzilla vs. Mothra is sequel to Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah where Godzilla fights against Mothra and her dark counterpart Battra.

Who Is He?

Battra is secondary antagonist of Godzilla vs. Mothra who is the dark counterpart of Mothra made by the Earth to prevent it from being harmed. Battra would awaken one day due to humankind's actions on the environment.

His Actions?

He would destroy an ancient civilization before the events of the film and battle Mothra before being defeated. In modern day he would awaken where he would cause some destruction in Japan before heading off to fight Mothra and later Godzilla.

After evolving into his imago form he would fight imago Mothra before redeeming himself and help Mothra fight Godzilla at the cost of his own life.

Why Don’t he Qualify?

The biggest problem is the worst crime of wiping out the ancient civilization is fridge-horror and only context is the Cosmos mentioning it and cave art but don’t show Battra committing the act nor the Cosmos said the population number of said civilization. The only thing we see is him battling Mothra on the cave art.

Without it he mostly tried to kill Mothra, Godzilla and went on a rampage across Japan a bit before redeeming himself making him fail to Destoroyah, the human villains or even Godzilla himself who slightly fail the heinous standards himself due to Battra’s onscreen acts amounting to causing the typical destruction you see in the Heisei Godzilla film since he only attacked one city as SpaceGodzilla and Destoroyah don’t rely on fridge-horror and Godzilla himself has some at least some onscreen acts to stand out to be minor insufficient despite failing himself due to rampaging in cities. Not to mention SpaceGodzilla and Destoroyah also attempted to wipe out humankind themselves with more malicious cruel means.

Although SpaceGodzilla be unfair since Battra can’t travel into space he would still have more resources, he fails to Destoroyah and Godzilla himself who slightly fail himself since Destoroyah has his sadism while Godzilla causes more destruction than Battra in attacking multiple cities throughout the films compared to Battra only a few in some scenes.

If there was cave art of him shown doing the act of wiping out the civilization and people in it’s background or if the Cosmos said how many were in the ancient civilization that he destroyed he would’ve not relied on fridge-horror.

Verdict

A easy cut since his worse act is fridge-horror due to it being offscreen and not seen on the cave art nor mentioned by Cosmos how much the population so his other crimes aren’t enough to stand out making fall behind to SpaceGodzilla, Destoroyah and even Godzilla himself or even some human villains.
