Perfectly reasonable reaction for a man who lost his family.
Watts up Inconsistently Heinous Wiki. Welcome to my forty-eighth proposal. So, here's a recent candidate that has been removed from Near Pure Evil by me, and well, the removal got relatively divisive, though there is still somewhat of a gap between the "cut" and "keep" votes. Hopefully, with the removal having an "approved" stamp, he can be safely proposed here (some did wish it kept going on even though many people already gave their thoughts about this). Anyways, let the trial commence!
What's the Work?
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is a 2018 superhero film made by Sony. It revolves around Miles Morales who had his version of Spider-Man killed which he then ends up encountering other variants of Spider-Men from separate universe, and there's also the Kingpin who tries using the Collisioner which he wishes to use to find a variant of his family.
Who Is He? What Has He Done?
Wilson Grant Fisk, better known as the Kingpin, is the main antagonist of the film.
He is basically a crime boss as well as an enemy of Spider-Man that also had a family he genuinely loved. One day, when he's fighting Spider-Man like always, his family witnessed everything and drove away from him, only for them to end up dying. Due to this, the Kingpin would then kill Spider-Man.
He's not over with this though, as he would eventually have Alchemax create the Collisioner which he wishes to use to find a variant of his family, despite the fact that he was warned that various universes, including his own, would collapse, yet he did not care at all though.
Then, he eventually came to conflict with Miles Morales who would try to stop his plans. He one time killed his uncle Aaron Davis who was actually the Prowler due to turning against him after realizing he was about to kill his own nephew. Then, Kingpin finally battled with Miles Morales but then he would be defeated by him, and he then would be arrested.
Is He Heinous Enough?
Yes, I think he is, H ewanted to use the Collider which would knowingly endanger multiple universes yet he did not care at all just to find variants of his family to reunite with them. He's relatively personal too given he killed His universe's Spider-Man and Prowler, two figures that their deaths would morph Miles Morales into the hero he is now.
The only possible competition is the Spot, but not only will we have to wait for millennials for him to really do anything in a high level of heinousness given Beyond the Spider-Verse, but I think Kingpin still does enough just now.
What Doesn't Make Him Inconsistent?
While he did hold a memorial for his universe's Spider-Man at the top of Fisk Industries, it's all just a cover-up for activating the Super Collider down below it, while lying that he was an ally to Spider-Man.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?
He's very tragic as he had his family die in front of him due to driving away from him as they witnessed him fighting Spider-Man which caused both of them to die. Due to this, he would then have the Collisioner be created so he would find a variant of his family to basically reunite with his family. There's also the sympathetic scene where he begs for a variant of his family to not leave him while not even focusing about dealing with Miles Morales.
Also, he uh, very clearly cares about his family, given he is clearly saddened by their deaths, and he wants to find variants of them for him to reunite with his family.
Verdict?
Yes.
