After I saw Hong Kong being in proposal needed list, I read Life is a Game comic, I didn’t know that this incarnation of Hong Kong is more heinous than the other incarnations. This is my second proposal to do this. (I find this comic exaggerated and having false information)
whats with the work[]
Life is a game is a Polandball comic, which is about Hong Kong trying to visit Britain but she can’t go to airport due to her social credit becoming too low for petty reason, so she has to score her social credit higher. Click this link to know what happens.
who is she[]
Hong Kong is the main protagonist who tries to visit her adopted father, Britain, by scoring her social credit higher by doing something controversial.
what has she done[]
She thanks Macau for inviting her to casino, then her phone rings and she calls Britain, he tells her that he’s dying, which shocks her, he tells her that she would visit him to see him.
She goes to airport, but she has been stopped by China because of her social credit becoming too low for her being stupid plague god, writing traditional scripts in backwards and being an annoying daughter of Britain, then she throws tantrums. China tells her that she would enter if her social credit is more than 1,000. She then read rules of game book, then she begins go score her social credit higher.
She pays her taxes before deadline, praises pro-government performance, probably breaks buddhist statues, unfriends Uyghuristan, using Chinese apps, and getting a person, who paints his face white, arrested.
While she makes red caps, her phone rings and she calls Britain. He asks Hong Kong if she could visit Britain, Hong Kong answers that she’s stopped by China from going to airplane and she has to earn enough social credits to visit him, then Britains tells her that he has a lot of company to take care of him. But the words on cards heavily implies that Spain, France and Ireland hate him. She realizes that her social credit becomes low again because of her doing nothing to earn social credits. So she tries to earn so hard.
She tells the tourists that nothing happens in Tiananmen Square in 1989, creates an artificial Chinese island (which angers Philippines), creates smog in the city. teaches pandas about the nature, she blocks a path from river flowing that dolphins live (which accidentally drowns 5 people), she extinguishes a fire on Tibet while the latter protesting.
She goes to airport, but the staff tells her that the rules change; she has to get more than 100,000 social credit to visit any countries, then she throws tantrums and China takes her to the outside of airport. She reads the rules of game book, then sends a message to Britain that the rules change, but she has a plan that she would quickly visits him.
She goes the streets, praises the Chinese foods and tries to eat/drink them, then she posts about it on social media. After this, she has 9,999 social credit. Then she knocks on the door to visit Taiwan, they greets each other. Taiwan asks if she has eaten anything, she answers that she ate anything, then Taiwan tells her that he would offer her a tea. Taiwan tells her that he’s thinking about declaring his former independence from mainland, he would go to war with China if he doesn’t declares it. Hong Kong attempts to impale Taiwan, then the latter asks her why she plays China’s “twisted game”, she answers that she has no other choice if she wants to visit Britain, Taiwan replies to her that Britain isn’t her real father, Britain steals Hong Kong from Qing Dynasty and exploits her, then she returns to China. Hong Kong says that she doesn’t want to do that for Britain, but for highscore, she stabs Taiwan with a flagpole, making Hong Kong happy, but this causes an error in social credit number, making it negative, leading to her getting arrested.
The two policemen threatens her that she get a death penalty by getting her organ harvested, making her cry.
Britain dies in the bed.
What makes her heinous[]
Nobody passes in-story standard except her. She stabs Taiwan with a flagpole to score her social credit higher after learning the truth that Britain steals her from her real father, and dehydrates two dolphins after blocking the path of river with no remorse.
Why China fails heinous standards to Hong Kong[]
He’s indirectly responsible for Hong Kong’s villainous deeds as he make social credit, which the number becomes higher if she embraces Chinese culture, promotes Chinese propaganda, or ironically does something politically incorrectly. But Taiwan states that he’s about to declare his former independence from mainland, it would be dangerous that China threatens him that he would declare war on Taiwan if he doesn’t declare his former independence from him, meaning that he has to become part of him without any violence. So he don’t know that Hong Kong kills Taiwan without hesitation.

While she really loves Britain as she tries to earn enough credits to visit him. After she the truth for father, she says that she doesn’t do this for her father, but for her highscore, this proves that she doesn’t love Britain anymore and she wants to have high social credit.
She used to be a friend of Taiwan, but she’s not anymore because she kills him to earn social credits.
what makes her inconsistent[]
Like most characters from Polandball franchise, she’s too comedic to be straight NPE and she’s not taken serious in universe to be Silly NPE. Here is the list of her comedic moments:
- She throws tantrums when she’s not allowed to enter plane.
- The written reasons for credit card being negative is shown in China’s phone.
- Stupid plague god: -7
- Writes in backwards snobbish traditional script: -167
- Dubious loyalty to State and Party: -748
- Annoying westernized daughter of dog: -976
- She tells the police to arrest the person who is a “foreign spy”, even the latter is actually not.
- She’s shocked when she sees 5 drowned being floated up.
- Gate agent let the people to go to airplane instead of frustrated Hong Kong, so gate agent and people humiliates her.
- She compliments Chinese foods despite them not being edible.
As her main goal is to visit her adopted father, Britain, she’s not allowed to enter airport due to her social credit becoming low for petty reasons, so she commits villainous deeds to score her social credit higher. Though she subverts her care for Britain, she still doesn’t wish to be evil as China but she has to commit villainous deeds to visit Britain, as she’s not aware of her acts being morally wrong.
She had the genuine friendship with Macau as nothing indicates that she subverts it.
She cries because she’s getting executed by two policemen, which is played for sympathy.
