The Walrus is the titular main antagonist of the song sequence/poem The Walrus and The Carpenter as told by Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum in Disney's 13th full-length feature animated film Alice in Wonderland.
In the original animated film, he was modeled by the late Don Barclay and was voiced by the late J. Pat O'Malley.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- Upon spotting the 12 little oysters with the Carpenter, he tricked them into coming along with him into a restaurant the latter would build and then eat and practically slaughter them once they've walked right into his trap.
- While this is his only moral event horizon crossing moment, it by no means makes him standard as this act involved slaughtering 12 extremely young children, even if they were oysters and he was fully aware of their sapience. He even grinned while preparing to eat the oysters, showing sadism. Plus, the film's low heinous standards make him stand out in-universe.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He's too comedic to be PE or NPE because his act of killing the oysters is not taken seriously.
- He is shown to be tearful after eating the oysters, implying that, like his original incarnation, he felt remorse for tricking and eating them.
Trivia[]
- Due to him hailing from a Disney film that was released in the 1950’s, he is the first Inconsistently Heinous character in a full-length Disney animated film.
- On top of that, he and Captain Hook are the only two Disney Villains of the 1950’s not to be Villainous Benchmark or bog standard.
- He and the Red Queen are the only characters from any Alice in Wonderland work to be Inconsistently Heinous so far.
- He and Jumba Jookiba are also the only Inconsistently Heinous' of a Disney animated film not to be the main villains of any films.
