Inconsistently Heinous Wiki

Adam Carter is Austin’s father who developed the technology in Room 0 during his time as a teacher at Alan Turing High School. A year prior to the events of the series, he faked his death to protect his family from the Department of Internet Security (D.I.S.), as they wanted his technology but he refused in fear of it being used as a weapon by them.

Eventually, he goes to Cyberspace and gets attacked by Dark Code which then corrupts him, returning to the real world becoming the villain known as “The Sourcerer”.

He is portrayed by Bob Frazer.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

  • He opened a rift in Cyberspace (using his computer) where he unleashes Cyber Locusts in an attempt at destroying the power grid which causes a blackout in the city.
  • He upgrades Megabyte and places a delete code on him to force him to comply with his orders. Throughout the series, he would torture him with it and threaten his life.
  • He orders Megabyte to create a replicator to expand his army of sentinels for his next hack while berating him for being behind schedule.
  • He orders Megabyte to attack the Global Village Bank specifically by having his army weaken the site’s defense, which results in customers' cards declining. His overall goal is to break into the vault with his Dark Code Worm, specifically planning on causing millions of their customers to lose their life savings.
  • He orders Megabyte to cause an outbreak by releasing all of the viruses in Virusylum (a place in Cyberspace where the D.I.S. imprison viruses). Megabyte copies himself using the replicator device, but the copy ends up failing thanks to the heroes.
    • He forces Megabyte to make more, this time at full strength not caring that it will drain (temporarily) his power.
  • He hacks a virtual assistant called Alyx where go rogue. The situation escalates when our heroes reset her, causing more chaos than before such as public transportation.
  • He creates an army of Dark Code zombies to infiltrate unprotected computers all over the globe, specifically planning to cause a denial service attack that will crash the entire Internet but the attempt fails thanks to the heroes.
  • He offers Megabyte one more chance to prove his worth to him causing Megabyte to come up with a scheme to infect a child’s toy, making it go rogue which is noted to scare the kids and potentially be harmful. When the scheme fails, he takes over the plan with the news noting that the toys are heating up and catching on fire.
  • He hacks in a D.I.S. agent’s phone so he could get into their system. He accesses a nuclear missile site so he could launch a nuclear war head. Throughout the episode, he tries to access the twelve digit launch code to fire it.
  • He tortures Megabyte with the delete code while ordering him to capture the Guardians so he could get their technology for future schemes.
  • When Megabyte captures them, he orders Megabyte to extract it from their bodies for answers.
    • While he does remove the delete code he placed on him, this was just so he could help him get the information he needed.
  • He uses a taser to knock out his son and enter Cyberspace. He uses the Codec (the ship our heroes use in Cyberspace) to enlarge the Cyber Blackhole intending to obliterate the entire Internet.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He ultimately has moral agency issues due to being corrupted by Dark Code and is otherwise a good person who cares for his family.
  • When he regains control, he even helps the heroes stop his alter-ego, even sacrificing himself to close the Cyber Blackhole.
