The Player, better known as the Puppeteer, is the overarching protagonist of the 2008 RPG OFF by Martin Georis, better known as Mortis Ghost.
They are an entity from beyond the world of OFF whose purpose is to help the Batter in his quest of purifying the world by controlling his movements.

What Makes Them Heinous?[]
- They helped the Batter in purifying the world, destroying it and everyone in it. The end of the game made it pretty clear that the Batter won't able to accomplish all of this if wasn't for the player guiding and strengthen him.
What Makes Them Inconsistent?[]
- Due to being the in-game representation of the player, they are incapable of gaining actual characterization to even be NPE.
- They can optionally choose to ally with the Judge to stop the Batter and save the world thus redeemed themselves.
