The Fog of Lost Souls is a major antagonist in The Legend of Korra. It is a sentient spirit that infects the minds of whoever enters into it and drives them insane by imprisoning them in their worst memories.

Its Evil Ranking[]

What Makes It Heinous?[]

  • It imprisons its captives in their worst memories, driving them insane and giving them a fate worse than death as a result. It has been shown to have done this to dozens of people (though Zhao deserved his fate).

What Makes It Inconsistent?[]

  • It does not have enough characterization to be PE or NPE.
  • It has multiple moral agency issues due to its nature.

Trivia[]

  • It is the only spirit from The Legend of Korra to be Inconsistently Heinous, and one of the two spirits in the franchise to be so (alongside Koh the Face Stealer).
