| ~ Homer Simpson |
Homer Jay Simpson, better known as the Blob, is the titular main antagonist of "Married to the Blob", the first segment of The Simpsons halloweeen special "Treehouse of Horror XVII".
He was a homage to the well-known slimy monster from the movie of the same name, in this story however instead of the monster being an alien it was actually a mutated Homer, who became the Blob after ingesting a strange substance from outer space.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- After being mutated by a strange substance from outer space, he ate his cat Snowball V.
- He almost ate Bart, his own son, before Marge stopped him.
- He ate a teenager to "savor" him from the barbecue flames.
- He went on a rampage eating all the fat people in Springfield including children, eating so many that he grew into a gigantic blob-like monster.
- He ate Dr. Phil McGraw even after he tried reasoning with him to stop.
- He ate homeless people after luring them into a fake homeless shelter he was hiding in.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Like his mainstream counterpart, he cares about his family since he stopped his rampage when he realized Marge would leave him and decided to eat the homeless people instead.
- He has severe moral agency issues as a result of his mutation into a blob since his rampage wasn't out of malice, but to satisfy his hunger like a predator hunting to survive.
Trivia[]
- In the typical "Treehouse of Horror" fashion of parodying pop culture, the "Married to a Blob" segment is a parody of the horror movie The Blob with Homer Simpson filling similar to the titular monster.
