Kill... Kill... Kill... Kill... K... I... L... L...
~ The Beast's only lines as it looses control

The Beast is the main antagonist of the two-parter comic Transformers: The Beast Within one-shot series. It is a monstrous Combiner made up of the Dinobots in a gruesome and brutal fashion, before it went on a violent rampage against allies and enemies alike, proving to be far too unstable and powerful to stop.

It's Evil Ranking[]

What Makes It Heinous?[]

In General[]

  • Due to the comic not taking place in any pre-existing continuity and has no other competition besides Megatron, it's most heinous villain due to setting up the heinous standards.
  • Although Optimus Prime did sympathize with it, it isn't treated so by the comic's narrative however.

Transformers: The Beast Within[]

  • Although relies on fridge-horror, it was stated Grimlock it was unleashed millions of years ago prior to the start of the comic.
  • During a ambush by Megatron and the Decepticons, when Grimlock and the Dinobots recombined into the Beast while they had good intentions it would WAY too be overboard for the following reasons:
    • It would cleave Predaking in half with it's sword and when the Decepticons launched a arial assault it would wipe out Dirge, Ramjet, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Laserbeak and narrowly missing Starscream
    • It would rip apart Devastator and use his his remains to impale Bruticus. When Menasor begged for mercy to be spared, the Beast showed no mercy by tearing him half making the Decepticon combiner a scapegoat.
  • After the remaining Decepticons fled, when Optimus Prime attempted to to reason with before it turned on it's former allies.
  • The opening shot of the second issue show more bodies of those didn't die in the previous issue meaning it was killed by the Beast in between parts.
  • It would attempt to chase Optimus Prime in his truck mode carrying the remaining Autobots away to safely. While it may seem like generic "kill-the-heroes" villainy on paper, given it was shown to be brutal to it's previous it would've likely brutally killed them had it caught them.
  • It would swipe Optimus Prime’s trailer and would kill Skids on doing so but before it can do anything Jetfire would manage to arrive evacuating all but Optimus Prime where it would be blasted by the flying Autobots.
  • A panel shows a shoot of city closing in meaning it is approaching it meaning it would've rampaged in it had Optimus Prime put a end to it. While no people were seen in the shot, it doesn't rely on fridge-horror since Optimus Prime stated "millions" would've died had he not stopped it, this confirms the city has millions of people and would’ve lead to millions of causalities.
  • When Optimus Prime attempt to reason with it but to no avail, it attacked him forcing him to throw it off a cliff but tried to pull him with it. However Jetfire would manage to save it.
  • According to Ask Vector Prime, thanks to it's actions it would make Transformers unable to fight off against it's universe version of Unicron leading to the destruction of the universe making it indirectly responsible for the destruction of it's universe thanks to making the Transformers too weakened to fight the Chaos Bringer.

What Makes It Inconsistent?[]

  • The biggest reason it can't be PE or NPE is it looses all characterization of Grimlock and the Dinobots once the combiner was formed due to how unstable the combination process making the Dinobots' combined mind unstable with it loosing all sense of rationality. It's only lines is "Kill... Kill... Kill..." and speak in growls as it not only makes it a Generic Doomsday Villain but it’s moral agency issues are far too severe for NPE since loosing all sense of rationality caused it’s destructive rampage which also makes it a Villain by Proxy.

Trivia[]

  • The Beast the only Transformers Inconsistently Heinous to be a combiner. It is also technically the only version of the Dinobots to be Inconsistently Heinous due to being their combined form.
  • It was stated by Grimlock it was unleashed before and if it's previous formation is shown to also resulted on a rampage it would make the Beast worse.
