Swim Swim, real name Ayana Sakanagi, is a major antagonist in the Magical Girl Raising Project series.
She is a seven-year-old Magical Girl with a quiet personality. Extremely loyal to Ruler, she would work as Ruler's second-in-command within Team Ruler until she eventually schemes a plot and betrays her, thus taking over the faction for herself to "be like Ruler". Taking the reins of her faction's leadership, she starts a string of murders within Fav's death games to do it.
She is voiced by Inori Minase in Japanese and by Bryn Apprill in English.

What Makes Her Heinous[]
- Despite the high heinous standards of Magical Girl Raising Project, Swim Swim passes it due to her lower resources and her unique crime of infanticide (infant murder).
- After blindly following Nemurin's words, Swim would scheme a plot to usurp Ruler to eliminate her once the death games started. This included her by not giving the stolen Magical Candies she took from Snow White to Ruler, leading to Ruler's death.
- Killed multiple magical girls including Weiss Winterprison, Top Speed, Hardgore Alice, and Tama.
- By killing Winterprison, Swim Swim is responsible for Sister Nana's drive to alcoholism and eventually suicide.
- She also kills Top Speed, a pregnant magical girl, behind her back, which not only killed her, but also Top Speed's unborn baby at the same time, which was shown to be painful. This is personal villainy as Top Speed's death ultimately led to Ripple wanting revenge against her.
- She uses Hardgore Alice's weakness of being unable to transform amongst a crowd of people to kill her human self, Ako Hatoda, while the latter was going on her way to school.
- She kills Tama after the latter reveals her human identity, even if she regretted doing it.
- Despite being killed by Ripple out of revenge, Swim's actions eventually haunted Ripple (and Snow White, to a lesser extent) after she cut Ripple's left arm and right eye, as well as with Ripple regretting her actions and vowed not to end up like her.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She is too amoral to be NPE or PE as she does not have complex understanding of morality. She is also a literal-minded girl who easily believes in someone's words blindly, as such when she blindly believed Nemurin's offhand remarks about being a princess and wanting to be "like Ruler", which is a trait fairly typical for children.
- She is a reluctant killer who shows remorse, having taken zero pleasure in killing others, but only because she was forced against her will to kill due to the nature of the death games, in contrast to the more sadistic Calamity Mary who kills others with sadistic pleasure.
- For instance, Swim was clearly not on board on killing Ruler through indirect means, as well as being utterly regretful in killing her close companion Tama, where in the latter case she showed a clear case of remorse in that she broke down in tears after doing it (in the anime and light novel)/even hugging her body out of regret (in the manga), which is played for sympathy.
