Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Heinous?[]
- Was very antagonistic to Horton, in the beginning, criticizing his teaching and when he found a speck (which is later revealed to be a town called “Whoville” filled with people) on a pink flower and claimed there were people on there she disregarded it completely.
- Hires Vlad Vladikoff, a vulture, to get rid of the pink flower speck, which he does temporarily by dropping it in a field filled with identical pink flowers.
- Also while hiring Vlad, Vlad said he wanted her son Rudy in exchange for getting rid of the clover and doing god knows what with him after, she showed no regard for Rudy's fear.
- When hearing Horton had found the speck after Vlad’s attempt of getting rid of it failed she rallied the entire jungle community into an angry mob to go and arrest Horton.
- When at Horton with the mob she offered Horton a chance for it to all go away if he admitted to everyone that there is no one on the speck and if he doesn’t she will cage him.
- When Horton refuses the offer, she has the flower taken away from him by force and cages Horton.
- Dropped the flower speck in a pot of boiling hot beezelnut oil which would have been a straight-up genocide attempt had her son not caught it at the last second after hearing the voices and everyone else hears it too.
- While she didn’t know about the people living on the speck before, after finding out there were, she still wanted to put the flower back in the pot, trying to snatch it out of Rudy's hands, and trying to get anyone to stop him. Mostly just to satisfy her own ego.
- Despite the comedic nature of the film, she herself is the only one who is actually taken seriously and lacks any comedic moments.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- Despite being neglectful of him, she cares for her son Rudy.
- She is in the end an anti-villain as she genuinely believed that Horton’s influence was poisoning the children's minds and turning them into chaotic delinquents and wanted to stop that from happening.
- She did seem genuine in her offer to Horton to make the riot stop.
- She redeems herself in the end by helping Horton escort the speck of Whoville back to the flower covering it with an umbrella.
Trivia[]
- She is one of the three Inconsistently Heinous villains to be from Blue Sky, along with Gavin and Orson.
- Her book and cartoon versions don't qualify as they both immediately stopped their flower burndown attempt once they heard the Whos chanting "We are here! We are here! We are here!"
