“ | What, what, WHAAAAT?! | „ |
~ Sheila Broflovski's catchphrase. |
“ | Men! When you're out there, in the battlefield, and you're looking into the beady eyes of a Canadian as he charges you with his hockey stick, or whatever he has, and people are dying all around you, just remember what the NPAA says. Horrific, deplorable violence is okay, as long as people don't say any naughty words! That is what this war is all about! | „ |
~ Sheila inciting America to go to war against Canada to save their children from their vulgar content. |
“ | Alright, boys. It's time to come home. You've got some serious grounding time to start. | „ |
~ Sheila when she and the other parents grounding the boys for stealing baby calves and defying their parents. |

Despite being at her core a well-meaning woman who acts in the children's best interests, Sheila has shown throughout the show to be willing to resorting to extreme methods to prevent children from being "corrupted" by profanity and vulgarity. She was described as a "bitch".
She was voiced by the late Mary Kay Bergman in the first three seasons and is voiced by Mona Marshall from the fourth season onwards.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Heinous?[]
In General[]
- She rarely gets any comeuppance for her actions, managing to get away with them most of the time.
- While Cartman usually has less resources than her, Sheila stands out due to the amount of deaths that her war against Canada caused, even if they were later reversed, whereas Cartman's actions at most don’t cause any real damage.
South Park[]
- In "Death", she protests to make the network that airs Terrance and Phillip take the show off the air due to its offensive content, which leads to the deaths of many of her fellow protestors in suicide attacks at the studio, before calling all the kids' mothers to stop their kids from watching Terrance and Phillip.
- In "Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo", she forces the South Park Elementary to change their Christmas play for one with a non-offensive theme due to Kyle being cast as Joseph despite them being Jewish, resulting in a play with a theme everyone hates and inciting a riot in which she beats up Priest Maxi.
Bigger, Longer & Uncut[]
- She forms the xenophobic parental group Mothers Against Canada (MAC) to protest Terrance and Phillip after their movie leads South Park's children to swear and Kenny dying recreating a stunt, even though the Canadian commentators rightly point out that the film wasn't for children and that American parents should check what their children see, and that her adopted son Ike is Canadian.
- She and the MAC capture Terrance and Phillip on Conan O'Brien's show, paying Conan to betray them, before having them put on trial for corrupting America's children into swearing.
- After the Canadians bomb the residence of the Baldwin family, Shelia declares war on Canada and that Terrance and Phillip will be executed during a USO show, after which troops would be sent to Canada.
- During the war on Canada, there is a huge attack on Toronto that led to the deaths of the Arquette family, and all American citizens with Canadian blood are put into death camps.
- After Cartman sings an offensive song about her, she forces him to wear a V-chip that electrocutes him every time he swears, planning to do this to all the children in the town.
- When Kyle and his friends confront her to talk her out from killing Terrance and Phillip, Sheila refuses shoots the two dead, which allows Satan to invade Earth.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- As this is South Park, she is never taken seriously, with her character being primarily used in the earlier seasons to make fun of how many parents reacted to South Park.
- She does love her family, apologizing to them whenever she wrongs them, like she apologizes to Kyle for not giving him enough attention.
- She is a well-intentioned extremist who just wants the best for the sake of the children, with even her plot to kill Terrance and Phillip, while going too far, is because she feels that they were teaching the children to swear and didn't want them to maybe get themselves killed like Kenny.
- She's remorseful over her actions as she apologises for her xenophobic actions against Canada at the end of South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.
- She ultimately redeems herself, as she hasn't done anything heinous since Bigger, Longer & Uncut, and is primarily a minor character who only appears alongside other parents.
- She has shown moral standards on several occasions, such as in "Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina," when she cals Gerald out for being close minded after finding out Mr. Garrison had transitioned.
- She even explains to Kyle, in a very succinct and respectful way, what being transgender meant.
