Sera is the overarching antagonist of Season 1 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel.
She is the head seraphim and guardian of Heaven. She is the one who authorized the yearly Exterminations without Heaven's knowledge or authority, where thousands of Hell's Sinners are slaughtered.
She is voiced by Patina Miller.

What Makes Her Heinous?[]
- She allowed Adam and his exorcists to kill countless Sinners annually on the Extermination Day each year on the fear that sinners were going to uprise and Overtake heaven.
- Though no sinner was even implied to be in progression of uprising, with Velvette's suggestion of attacking Heaven being AFTER the Exterminations.
- Despite allowing Charlie to plead her case and welcoming her to heaven, the first thing she does afterwards is order Adam and Lute to shut the case down in order to deal with the dilemma, showing a complete lack of honor on her side.
- When Emily finds out about the Exterminations, she tried to justify her crimes as necessary and "required" to protect heaven.
- Despite seeing that a demon could be redeemed, she still says that there was no evidence of it, despite allowing Adam, Lute and the Exorcists, who are far by worse than demons, to remain in Heaven as Charlie and Emily point out.
- She allows Adam and his exorcists to attack the Hotel.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She is a well-intentioned extremist as she still believes that she is protecting Heaven and the angels who live there from the threat of dangerous demons.
- She cares for the younger seraphim Emily, hiding the truth of the Exterminations from her because she didn't want her to feel hurt, and wanted to avoid her questioning Heaven's decisions out of fear she may get sent into Hell for her disobedience like Lucifer did.
- She is genuinely affable towards Charlie, allowing her to enter the gates of Heaven and discuss her plan to redeem sinners and making them to go to Heaven, despite her not benefiting from this and even putting her goals at risk. Though she later told Adam and Lute to shut the case down and even allowed them to attack the hotel, so it's a minor prevention.
- She has some moral standards, as shown by her being against Adam and Lute's taunting of Charlie and Vaggie.
- She is clearly remorseful over her actions, and only does them because she believes they are necessary to protect Heaven. This is best shown during her talk with Adam and when Emily confronts her.
Trivia[]
- She, along with the Pilot version of Stolas, Millie Knolastname and Blitzo Buckzo are the four Hellaverse villains to be Inconsistently Heinous.
- She is also the only character from Hazbin Hotel to be Inconsistently Heinous.
- While she may be Inconsistently Heinous now, this could change in Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel, where she could end up losing many redeeming qualities or gaining more. She could also get redeemed after witnessing Sir Pentious, who was killed by Adam, land in Heaven.
