Scorched, also known as Sonic the Hedgehog, is the one of the two main protagonists of the story, Hog and Scorched, written by RblxTrex, or Jack Gore.
He was once a resilient and carefree hedgehog, a freedom fighter that had been compassionate and caring. However, one day, his entire world would befall a tragic fate, being rewritten by the world of Hog. Believing Hog to be the cause of his world's utter destruction, he would swear revenge on Hog and make sure he took back what was rightfully his.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- He would decide to commit omnicide on the entirety of Hog's world, to restore his own from the ashes of it, all the while sadistically tormenting Hog throughout.
- He would attempt to strangle Prowler (Hog's version of Tails) and end up having Hog be blamed for it.
- He would take over Hog's body, and then proceed to murder all of the latter's friends in a graphic manner:
- He would kill Prowler after Prowler had found out who he was by ripping him in half, then giving control back to Hog for a brief moment just so Hog could see what he had done, simply for his own sadistic craving.
- He would get Fists (Hog's version of Knuckles) nearly eaten by the rotting, undead corpses of the original Tails, Knuckles and Eggman. Then, once Fists survived, he would end up being taken down anyway, much like everyone else, via the doomsday.
- He would grab Yolkman (Hog's version of Eggman) and end up burning him alive.
- Scorched would attempt to kill Hog once and for all, all the while blaming Hog for his replacement.
- While Scorched changed his mind at the last second, the doomsday still occurred, evaporating everybody and frying the cartridge in the real world.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He has a genuine tragedy, as he had his entire world ripped away from him, Scorched specifically being forced to remain alive as the world he once knew is replaced and went on without him.
- Even further, he was taunted by hallucinations of Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman, it going on for years until Scorched believed that the world's destruction was Hog's fault.
- Scorched genuinely still cared about Tails and Knuckles (arguably Eggman as well), as he would wish for them to come back upon gaining the Giga Ruby (Hog's equivalent of The Master Emerald)
- His death at the end of the story is completely played for sympathy. As the doomsday reaches both Scorched and Hog, the former takes a heel-face turn as his former life begins flashing before his eyes, realizing everything he had done, crumpling to the ground and tearfully admitting that he doesn't want to die alone, before both he and Hog are engulfed in the doomsday.
Trivia[]
- Due to Scorched's ego, Scorched would not get along with other EXEs that pretend to be Sonic.
- Despite being the original, the Sayo version of Scorched was approved first.
- Hog and Sonic are an equal match to each other in terms of strength, but Scorched is much more powerful than Hog.
- Sonic has never been referred to as "Scorched" in-universe, but it's more-or-less a nickname for his "super" form.
- Scorched was originally made just for Friday Night Funkin', but has since gotten his own story and has a fully-fledged fan-game in the works.
- Additionally, Scorched was supposed to appear in Vs. Sonic.Exe, but due to the mod's cancellation, he was not added into the mod's final release.
- Scorched was also meant to show up in the original rendition of ILLEGAL INSTRUCTION, but was removed after controversy regarding the mod's director, averyavery, came up. He was one of the few EXEs to not be added back in during the mod's revival, alongside NormalCD and Curse.
- Only one person can survive in the void at the time, meaning that if someone else (like Tails) were to live, Sonic would die in their place.
- Hog and Scorched have two other counterparts made by Jack Gore.
- The first is Tenrec Racer 7, a version which is meant to be more akin with standard bootlegged games, with that world's Scorched, known as NULL, forcing the player to stop playing the game.
- The second is REDUX, which has Scorched connected to other EXEs and feeding off of their energy.
