That... I can't keep lying to myself anymore... My magnificence is at his limit...
~ Satanick

Satanick is a reoccurring character in Okegom's works, he is the ruling devil of Ne-No-Kuni and the younger brother of Fumus. He is a sadomasochistic demonic monarch who has sexual and romantic feelings for Ivlis.

What makes him Heinous?[]

  • The living conditions within the world Satanick rules over aren't that good, given Satanick has no problem with Roc Hijoushiki throwing people in prison for petty reasons and torturing them.
  • He is responsible for the crimes committed by his subordinates as their monarch, and allows them to do the actions they commit such as killing angels. These subordinates include:
    • Lec Hijoushiki who is a cannibalistic doctor who gives people diseases rather than curing them.
    • Roc Hijoushiki who is a perverted police officer who loves lynching angels for fun, throws people in prison and tortures them and has raped Lobco on multiple occasions.
    • Hidou who is a sadistic biologist who captures and tortures angels to produce snuff films, and also rapes and produces snuff films of his own wife
    • Kyou who likes attacking angels and collecting their hearts
    • Hitoki who assaults people in their sleep for fun
    • Dokugai who is a pedophilic toxicologist who likes young boys and is considered the most dangerous of all of Satanick's subordinates
  • After falling in love with Ivlis, he would then go on to repeatedly rape, torture and humiliate Ivlis almost constantly in a variety of brutal ways.

What makes him Inconsistent?[]

  • He has a very sympathetic tragedy of being emotionally, sexually and physically abused by his older brother Fumus to the point Fumus even placed a curse on Satanick that would kill Satanick should he ever love normally, which is why his views on love are so messed up and twisted.
    • This also means his moral agency is questionable, as his understanding of right and wrong is flawed at best.
  • He's shown to have a genuine, albeit twisted, love and care for Ivlis. He also has shown to of gradually started becoming a better person towards Ivlis.
  • He's genuinely polite towards his underlings and subordinates as well as other individuals that he gets along with.
  • He's an On & Off character as he has actually done admirable actions such as him creating worlds and bringing life into them.
  • He's played for sympathy multiple times in the series, from him becoming depressed after Victor Flankenstein's death as well as his suffering at the hands of Fumus that causes his distorted views on love.
  • He's not taken seriously enough as a lot of his actions are played for black comedy such as him being drawn with a goofy smile while running around his castle naked in which his subordinates comically just sigh due to it being a common occurrence.
  • He honored Victor Flankenstein by adopting his daughter after his death, which was a promise he made to Victor.
  • He is shown to have moral standards as he wasn't happy when finding out of Ivlis's genocidal intentions. He also doesn't like being compared to his brother.
