“ | I'm glad you brought that up, because, Mr. Reynolds, science... is a liar sometimes. This... is Aristotle. Thought to be the smartest man on the planet. He believed that the Earth was the center of the universe, and everybody believed him, because he was so smart. Until another smartest guy came around, Galileo, and he disproved that theory, making Aristotle and everybody else on Earth look like a... bitch. 'Course, Galileo then thought comets were an optical illusion, and there was no way that the moon could cause the ocean's tides. Everybody believed that because he was so smart. He was also wrong, making him and everyone else on Earth look like a bitch again! And then, best of all... Sir Isaac Newton gets born, and blows everybody's nips off with his big brains. 'Course, he also thought he could turn metal into gold, and died eating mercury, making him yet another stupid... bitch! Are you seeing a pattern? | „ |

His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- In general, he's a massive hypocrite, constantly claiming to have certain beliefs but always behaves in ways that goes against said beliefs while coming up with some sort of loophole as to why.
- Most notably In high school, he made a profit by selling weed and ratting out all the other dealers.
- He slept with Dennis' prom date and then later lied to him that it was Tim Murphy.
- He went to abortion rallies to pick up women and then demanded his girlfriend have a termination when she falsely claimed to be pregnant.
- When it was believed Charlie had been molested, Mac's main concern was that it meant he was unattractive and attempted to seduce their former teacher. This attitude was so disgusting that even Dee and Dennis called him out on it.
- After finding out that Dennis had allowed him to be beat up in an underground fighting match to make a quick buck, Mac abandoned him to the mercy of a mugger, though it is understandable that he did.
- He tried to sleep with The Waitress to spite Charlie just because he thought he saw Charlie destroy one of his "Project Badass" tapes.
- He and Dennis hunt Cricket for sport. It's also heavily implied they raped him offscreen when they finally catch him.
- He pretends to have cancer to get Bon Jovi to perform a private concert for him.
- He throws a beer bottle out of a car and hits a cyclist on the head with it just because they were rude to Dennis.
- He intentionally got Dennis sick by giving him a "protein shake" made out of various sorts of junk foods so he could remain dependent on him.
- When he feels Dennis hasn't paid enough attention to him after moving to the suburbs, he tricks him into eating a dead dog that he himself neglected by starving it to death even though Dennis bought the dog for him.
- He rudely, and rather hypocritically, rejects his estranged uncle in favor of staying with his abusive mother even though they have a lot in common in terms of being rejected by their family members and their sexuality. Even Charlie takes note of this and calls him out for it.
- Despite the show's high heinous standards, Mac stands out due to his fair lack of resources and personal villainy towards Dennis.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is very comedic, as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a black comedy and nothing is taken seriously in the show.
- He has a genuine friendship with the gang, especially Dennis and Charlie.
- He is tragic due to having a strained relationship with his family and he's also confused over his sexuality. Because of this, he has insecurities that are sometimes played for sympathy.
- While he is very hypocritical, he still shows genuine moral standards at times, such as calling Dennis and Dee out for scamming money out of Welfare and being disgusted when a priest he befriended turned out to have pedophilic urges.
- Despite their horrible treatment of him, Mac loves his father and mother and desperately wants them to return his affection. As when his mother burned her house down, Mac initially wanted her to move in with him and Dennis. When his father, Luther was arrested for decapitating a man, he tried to help back him up though he just ended up making things worse. He additionally still cared for his cousin, Country Mac, even if he was jealous of him and took his time to mourn his death.
