Papyrus Deltarune, better known as the Roaring Knight and/or "Rory Nyte", is the main antagonist of Topaz Plays' Deltarune Chapter 5 parody animations.
He is the version of Papyrus from the Deltarune universe who, after the version of his brother Sans from his universe was "murdered" and replaced by the Undertale universe's Sans, became incredibly depressed and vengeful, secretly despising his fake brother. At some point, he somehow became the Roaring Knight/Rory Nyte and, deciding it wasn't worth living in a world without his real brother, decided to unleash the Roaring and destroy the world out of nihilistic grief. He is the younger brother of the Sans Deltarune, the archenemy of Sans Undertale and the Fun Gang (Kris, Susie and Ralsei/Asriel), and supposedly the "secret cousin" of Noelle Holiday.
He is voiced by traumatized edgeworth.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- His entire goal is to unleash the Roaring, which would destroy the entire world, purely out of grief that his brother "died".
- Given that the videos are framed as Chapter 5 of the real Deltarune, it's safe to assume Paps commited the same crimes that the Knight commited in canon.
- He immediately kills Ralsei/Asriel Dreemurr by slashing them with his sword. Though they deserved it for "genociding" their mother Toriel.
- He begins fighting Kris and tries killing them, but is beaten by them and runs away.
- He breaks into The Flower King in an attempt to open another fountain.
- He is easily the most heinous character in the animations since, while The Undertale Human commit multiple GENOCIDEs and resets, Paps outdoes them by attempting to permanently destroy his whole world, while the Human likely reset the world every time they finished a GENOCIDE.
- Despite being Noelle's "secret cousin(g)", nothing states he cares about her or the rest of the Holidays at all.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He's a comedic parody of both the original Papyrus and Roaring Knight, and none of his actions are meant to be taken seriously. The fact that Papyrus is the Knight at all is meant to be a jab at the currently unlikely Papyrus-Knight Theory.
- They also can't be Silly due to the videos being intentionally low-quality, with the "animation" being a bunch of moving PNGs.
- He's way too tragic, as he had to watch his brother, the Sans Deltarune, "die" and be replaced in front of him. The fact he states he "wanted to love/care about someone" implies that his brother was the only person who cared about him at all, making him more tragic. And while the Sans Deltarune is still alive, Paps doesn't know this so it still counts.
- This also showcases that he cares about his brother and is genuinely upset over his death.
Trivia[]
- He is the only version of both Papyrus and the Roaring Knight to be Inconsistently Heinous so far. Though it's possible that the Knight's canon counterpart could qualify in the future.
