Inconsistently Heinous Wiki

Insolent child! You shall pay dearly for your disrespect! Still, to honor your Cooper ancestry, I will send you to your doom with the beauty of my new firework technique... Flame-Fu!
~ Panda King during his encounter with Sly in the Thievius Raccoonus.

Panda King is the main antagonist of Chapter 4: "Fire in the Sky" of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. He was the demolition's expert of the Fiendish Five until his defeat at the hands of Sly Cooper and imprisonment by Carmelita Fox. Three years later, following his release/or escape from prison he retired from crime and was eventually recruited as the Cooper Gang's demolition expert.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

  • He, along with the Fiendish Five, are responsible for the death of Sly Cooper's father and tearing up the Thievius Raccoonus.
  • When the rich arrogant people kicked him out because they couldn't see through his shabby clothes he decided to take revenge on them by using his fireworks to cause chaos in the city which would endangered innocent lives.
  • He is willing to use his fireworks to cause an avalanche burying entire villages in the snow if the people refuse to pay as seen at the beginning of his chapter.
  • He attempted to murder Sly Cooper on the battle because he thought Sly was disrespecting him.
  • Even when he helps the gang on saving his daughter, he still has tendencies on wanting revenge on Sly as seen when he is talking to himself in the mirror.
  • His actions left Sly with trust issues on him due to being responsible for his father's death.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He is genuinely tragic as he was impressed by the rich noblemen's fireworks and spent a decade learning the art, then he tried to share his masterpiece with them but got kicked out since they wouldn't see him as any more than a poor person.
  • He is actually benevolent to his minions as he gave them a quick warning about Sly Cooper and even called them "valued employees".
  • He is honorable as he is willing to honor Sly's ancestry even if it meant killing him, even saying that he will use his new "Flame-Fu" technique to kill Sly to respect the latter's lineage.
  • He cares about his daughter Jing King and was heartbroken when she got kidnapped by General Tsao, who tried to force her to marry him against her will.
  • In Sly 3 he redeemed himself and decided to help Sly Cooper and the gang to get into the vault and apologizes for killing his parents. After that, he decided to retire and become a monk again, screening Jing King's potential suitors with her approval.
