The Paedofinder General is a major antagonist of the 2003 British satirical cartoon series Monkey Dust.
He is a self proclaimed pedophile hunter who accuses innocent people of being pedophiles despite them not doing anything pedo related at all, with him using fake evidence in order to make them look like pedos anyway and would also manipulate the people around him to believe his lies and to be viewed as a good person despite him taking things out of the wrong context thinking that it is pedophilia, with him then killing off his victims in very gruesome ways, also showing to be sadistic as he is proud of his dirty work.
He is voiced by Simon Grenall.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- He accused a game show host of being a pedophile due to him making a couple guess the name of a person named P.D. James when he thought he made it say "Paedo James", also accusing him of making children being victims of it.
- When the game show host tries to correct him by saying his name is P.D. James, he silences him refusing to let him speak the truth and still makes everyone view him as a bad person, with him then ordering his cloaked minions to tie him up in a woodcut, lighting it up, and making him burn to death and scream in pain afterword's, with him sadistically smirking at the camera and saying "Now that's entertainment".
- He made a guy with a crossbow shoot a boy's dog named Banjo with it all because it was licking his face.
- Even when the boy tearfully looked up at him saying he killed his best friend, he showed no remorse for it saying that he was a paedo dog.
- He accused a lifeguard of being a pedophile due to him seeing people including children in swimsuits despite the lifeguard having absolutely nothing to do with it, with him also making a false claim about the lifeguards trunks saying pedo when it actually said speedo, but does not budge and knocks him into an acid filled pool he made his cloaked minions fill it up with.
- He busted into a theater and blasted a violin players head off with a tank, accusing him of being a pedophile because he is playing a role in fiddle on the roof.
- He then accuses the singer of being a pedophile for singing a song from fiddle on the roof then kills him by shooting him in the head with the violin string.
- During his song “Fire”, he caused chaos at a school disco by making his cloaked minions tie up a bunch of people on woodcuts burning them to death, trapping them in maidens impaling them to death with spikes, and trapping them in cages leaving them to die in the fire, turning them all into corpses.
- He accused a school play author of being a pedophile all because he made some students do a play about Townsend, king and glitter.
- He brought some inappropriate material at the school Infront of lots of children, such as a daily star newspaper and a book of the register of sex offenders.
- He brought a decapitated head of a person (presumably the principal) on the stage and used it as a puppet to manipulate the children into thinking their teacher was a pedophile, then gives him a slow and painful death by putting him in a giant burning statue.
- He accused two men of being pedophiles all because they were gay, ultimately showing his homophobic side, then makes his cloaked minions kill them by hanging their necks on Noose's then hanging them to death.
- He accused a father (who was on a family trip on the beach) of being a pedophile all because of him and his wife and children being in swimsuits, also making some inappropriate comments about his daughter, then makes his cloaked henchmen hang the whole family on gallows.
- What's worse is that he even made them kill the two children by hanging them as well due to his excuse of victims growing up to abuse others.
- He accused a mother of being a pedophile all because she made images of her newborn baby, with him then slicing her head clean off with a pair of giant scissors.
- He accused a couple who were getting married of being pedophiles all because they brought they're children along with them, also accusing the brides father of being a child abuser thinking that he was abandoning his daughter, then kills the whole wedding party by crushing them to death with giant bells and then desecrates their corpses by having their heads attached to the back of a car.
- He is seen looking at inappropriate and illegal imagery of children in the finale of Monkey Dust, which ultimately makes him a hypocrite as he accuses people of doing normal activities of being pedophiles, yet at that moment he does something that is pedophilic related, pretty much making him a pedophile himself.
- He only uses his cloaked minions as tools for killing his victims, showing no true friendship with them.
- He is never punished for any of his crimes and gets away with everything even when Monkey Dust came to an end, as the onlookers who believe his lies never confront him or call him out on his actions especially when he kills his victims in gruesome ways, as they instead clap and praise him despite the people he accuses being innocent and never being pedophiles at all.
- While Ivan Dobsky did arguably do worse due to blowing up an entire concert dedicated to him, it should be noted that it was because one of the singers was about to give away Mr. Hoppy despite it being Ivan’s best friend and Ivan only wanted to keep his friend safe, it should also be noted that Ivan has been jailed for a long time to the point where he doesn’t understand the modern world, is affable as he is friendly to people he meets and does care for his friends Mr. Hoppy and Mr. Jennings. The Paedofinder General on the other hand, kills people for inexcusable reasons, is extremely sadistic and remorseless, and his kills are far more brutal (Almost always resulting in the victim being mutilated) and doesn’t show any true friendship towards his cloaked henchmen as he only uses them as tools to kill his victims, also having fewer resources than Ivan due to having supernatural powers, having strong manipulation, and having his cloaked minions by his side to help him with his hideous deeds.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Due to Monkey Dust being a series purely played for black comedy and dark humor, he is way too comedic to be Pure Evil or Near Pure Evil, never being taken seriously in the slightest.
- Infact, his entire character is a parody of Matthew Hopkins, the famous British witch-hunter known as the Witchfinder General.
- He does show some affability to the people who praise him, as he does sign his name on pictures they take of him and does accept his gift of flowers thrown at him at the theater after they believe his lies.
Trivia[]
- Its unknown where he obtained the CSAM he was viewing but it is possible that he payed for it, if this were confirmed it would make him even worse since he would be enabling the abuse of children by buying such content, making him even more of a hypocrite.
