Owen Shaw is one of the three secondary antagonists (alongside Fenix Calderon and Aimes) of the Fast & Furious franchise.
He is the son of Queenie Shaw, the younger brother of Deckard Shaw, and the older brother of Hattie Shaw. Shaw started out as a Major in the British Special Air Service and a Special Ops soldier, before becoming a mercenary and terrorist.
He was portrayed by Luke Evans.

Background[]
- From childhood he developed a hard and belligerent behavior, which forced his brother to save him from fights and handing him over to the police.
- After being accused of inappropriate military behavior he was released from the army and as petty revenge he becomes a mercenary and terrorist.
- He committed several robberies on an international scale, which made him wanted in Europe. However, due to his military knowledge, he knew how to anticipate their ways of action from him.
- Cooperates with drug dealers like Arturo Braga in his actions against the law.
- While Letty survived Fenix Calderon's attack on her, he intended to shoot her. He did keep her in his team, but only because she was amnesiac and he only used her as a tool.
- Cooperates with the notorious cyberterrorist Cipher in her goals.
Fast & Furious 6[]
- Tried to steal a military chip that would allow control of a special computer processing unit that could kill millions of people.
- He takes out several mobiles from a barber shop that are chasing him.
- He enjoys watching Letty shoot Dom, her ex-partner while trying to get her memory back.
- Operated Riley Hicks as a double agent within Dom's team.
- During his attempt to steal the mysterious chip, he escapes from Dom's team using a tank and wreaks havoc on the roads with his men until he is arrested.
- After being caught, he orders his men to take Mia Toretto as a hostage, in order to make Brian O'Conner enter into a confrontation with the police and try to get the team off him.
- He puts Mia on a plane traveling next to a car with the mysterious chip in it.
- When Dom's team arrives he confronts them and calls for his men to kill them (which later kills his men themselves). Also during the confrontation Gisele falls from the plane and is apparently killed.
- While he is seriously injured after fall from his pilot, he has no real tragedy about it as it is his fault for his actions against the team.
Furious 7[]
- Because of his actions and downfall, his brother Deckard became a vengeful enemy of the crew.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He loves his family, especially Deckard and his mother.
- He had some dignity and affably in letting Letty return to Dom's arms, after she was disillusioned with her memory. He even allows Dom to return home safely with Letty, even though he could have assassinated him. He even suggests that Dom leave the chase and return to his home, before he is forced to harm his men.
- He redeems himself and abandons Cipher, helping his brother succeed in saving Dom's son from her.
