Necross is the main antagonist of the 2015 French computer animated fantasy film, Mune: Guardian of the Moon.
He is a evil former sun guardian who fell to the dark side.
He was voiced by Eric Herson-Macarel in the French version and by Davey Grant in the English version.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- Back when he was one of the guardians of the sun, he was manipulated by some corrupting snakes to be infected by a feeling of power and attempted to take the sun for himself and use its power to make him invincible.
- He stole the sun completely for himself, which caused permanent darkness and widespread panic around the world, causing many citizens including Phospho to hide due to his reign of terror.
- After getting defeated by Xoxal due to him sending him to the underworld, he seeked revenge to get the sun back for himself one day.
- After he heard that Xoxal was stepping down as guardian of the sun for a replacement, he saw this as an opportunity for vengeance as he then sends his pale snakes to spread darkness to the fairest of hearts, including Leyoon, making him jealous that Mune was chosen to be the next guardian of the moon instead of him, causing him to go to Sophone and make him scold Mune due to Sophone hating Mune at that time because of him accidently messing up the moons orbit, and Sophone which almost made him corrupted as well but ended up failing.
- When Sophone went to go scold and attack Mune due to not only Leyoon manipulating him to but also him having a massive hatred for Mune at that time, Necross made his minions Mox and Spleen steal the sun and give it to him so that he could make the sun all his, once again putting the world into darkness and causing widespread panic.
- With the sun in his hands once again, Necross proceeds to absorb off the sun's energy into himself, satisfying himself with power and eternal darkness.
- He tried to kill Sophone with his bare hands and assaults him by punching him hard and far more than once.
- He tried to kill Mune by stomping on him with his giant foot, with him only failing due to Sophone blocking it with his strength, allowing Mune to escape.
- What's worse is that Mune was only a teenager, meaning that Necross has no qualms of hurting children.
- He doesn't care for his minions Mox and Spleen and only uses them as tools for his dirty work.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He was manipulated by some corrupting snakes to get the suns power for himself, meaning that he didn't choose to become a villain by himself due to the evil snakes manipulating him to become evil.
- He does end up redeeming himself at the end of the movie, as after Mune destroys the corrupting snakes causing him to be turned back to normal, he nods his head at Mune while smiling as a way of thanking him from freeing him from the snakes manipulation, with him then accepting his fate and joining the other deceased guardians.
