Moritz is one of the two main antagonists (alongside his brother Victor) of the 2004 video game Crash Twinsanity. He and Victor were Cortex's pet parrots when he was a child studying at the Evil Academy who were teleported on the 10th dimension following a failed experiment using the prototype Evolvo-Ray. There, the two were infected by the dimension's radiation, causing them to obtain great intelligence and cosmic powers that they decided to use to take revenge on Cortex.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

  • While he, like his brother, was originally an innocent parrot who was forced into the 10th dimension, that doesn't automatically make him tragic. As not only was it not shown as being a necessarily bad event, but it wasn't meant to be shown as something to entice sympathy. Not to mention the two of them take pride in their statuses as "masters of the dimensions", which was achieved by the time they were in the dimension. And that's not even taking wrongdoings he committed against people other than Neo, like trying to kill Crash, into consideration. The experiment even caused him to gain benefits, such as his powers and great intelligence, and he was never shown having any problems with this.
    • In relation to the above, although Cortex deserved it, his and Victor's attempt to kill him is not portrayed as right or justified, not to mention that they sadistically tormented him in a petty and cruel way, and act as arrogant and pompous as he does.
  • He tried to destroy N. Sanity Island and threatened to kill Crash and Cortex when they tried to stop him and his brother.
  • He and Victor extracted Cortex's brain, driving him mad out of sheer agony.
  • He tried to kill Crash and Cortex using Tikimon.
  • He and Victor had planned to utilize the Reverse Vice Versa device to suck all the goodness out of Crash's dimension and leave it with the greatest misfortune of all the dimensions.
  • He and Victor humiliated Aku Aku and Uka Uka and attempt to kill Crash and Cortex again after defeating the former two.
  • He and his brother were responsible for the theft of countless riches from Spyro's dimension.
  • The final time he and Victor attempted to kill Crash and Cortex, they also went after the latter's niece Nina.
  • Despite having a brutal death by being devoured by Evil Crash, the event is not portrayed with sympathy despite being portrayed for laughs unlike with Victor as Moritz says he wants roast chicken, one can't deny he deserved it for everything he did.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • Unlike his brother, he is too comical to be NPE, given to his silly, childish, naïve moments and his constant hunger, and is played for laughs most of the time. And unlike Victor whose humor is mostly consistent of black comedy and is meant to showcase how much of a jerk and egotist he is, Mortiz's comical moments are meant to come off as more silly and to portray him as the less serious and formidable of the two, not to mention they also come up more often.
  • He has shown to care about his brother, such as in the first scene feeling embarrassed when being scolded by Victor as he believed that Cortex would bring them choccie treats and being easily submissive to him, and he shows that really likes him, although Victor doesn't seem to like him very much.

Trivia[]

  • While Moritz is Inconsistently Heinous, his brother Victor (who he happens to share a Villains Wiki page with) was approved as Near Pure Evil, thanks to his comedic moments being much less detracting and frequent than those of this brother.
  • It is unknown whether his original version of Crash Bandicoot Evolution would also be Inconsistently Heinous or not.
