The MegaBug, also referred to as the MegaDragon and later MegaDragonBowser after merging with Bowser, is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Bowser Jr.) of the 2017 Nintendo/Ubisoft video game Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, and the posthumous overarching antagonist of its 2022 sequel, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope.
It is an evil virus accidentally created by Spawny when he struck the Time Washing Machine with the Supamerge. It ultimately seeks to destroy existence, starting with Mario's world, and it would go on from there. In doing so, it would corrupt various Rabbids into turning evil, and feed off the energy caused by it from the Rabbids, becoming more and more powerful until it gained physical form.
Its Evil Ranking[]
What Makes It Heinous?[]
- It was responsible for turning the Rabbids evil in the first place.
- It wanted to destroy existence itself starting with Mario's world, and would go on from there to destroy Mario's universe, and then the Rabbids' universe.
- It would possess Bowser while he was unconscious to fight the heroes.
- During the battle with it, it might attack its own minions while fighting the heroes.
- Despite its destruction, it gave life to a new being named Cursa with its remaining fragment that gained sentience and evolved into a new monstrosity that spreads across the galaxy, possesses Rosalina and creates an army to capture the Sparks and conquer the galaxy, sparking the events of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope.
- Overall, it is one of the most destructive beings in the entire series, alongside Dimentio, Count Bleck, Dark Star, and King Boo.
- Also similar to three of the above mentioned, it ultimately has no redeeming qualities at all, have no comedic moments and take completely seriously.
What Makes It Inconsistent?[]
- It shows little to no personality at all, which makes it a "Generic Doomsday Villain".
