~ Master Shake's most famous quote |
“ | Master Shake: Why do you disappoint me? (Ezekiel starts crying) Second by second, you waste my time. Frylock: Shake, Shake, Shake...let's just have some fun out here, okay? Master Shake: Why? He sucks! C'mon, Sucky, before you ruin the entirety of my future! Frylock: Shake- Master Shake: The only reason God doesn't erase you from the face of the Earth, is because you amuse him somehow! |

~ Shake verbally abusing Ezekiel. |
Master Shake is one of the main protagonists of the adult animated TV series Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
He is the self-proclaimed leader of the Aqua Teens and the brother of Frylock and Meatwad. Although he does have some heroic roles, he mostly commits very heinous crimes for either personal gain, morbid curiosity, or simply for fun. His impulsive decisions and unpredictable moods always lead to trouble for the trio (and occasionally their neighbor, Carl, as well), but Shake would rather be more concerned about his ego than the well-being of others.
He was voiced by Dana Snyder.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
In General[]
- Throughout the show, he is very racist, sexist, greedy, narcissistic, and self-serving.
- He regularly tortured, bullied and annoyed his brothers, Meatwad and Frylock, for pure pleasure, boredom, ignorance, or to get their attention.
- He has killed Carl a few times, and even ate his corpse at one point.
- He has been responsible for multiple character's deaths, whether directly or indirectly.
TV Series[]
- In "Circus", he sold Meatwad to a circus under the guise that he was taking Meatwad to computer camp.
- In "PDA", he claimed to have lost a PDA device and became very homicidal and destructive over it, such as throwing his recliner out the window, threatening to destroy the rest of the house, tricking Frylock into investigating an alien sighting only to abandon him so he could get stomped on, and nearly drowning Meatwad by forcing him to go inside a cage while underwater.
- It was eventually revealed Shake never owned a PDA to begin with, yet despite this, he never showed any guilt for the things he did.
- In "Super Hero", he set the entire city on fire, destroyed its buildings, and caused several explosions just so he could gain publicity.
- In "Super Squatter", he entered Carl's house without his permission and mooched off of him. When Carl accidentally shot himself in the foot as an attempt to get Shake away, he didn't care and instead watched TV and ate pretzels as if nothing happened.
- In "Kidney Car", he stole Carl's car and entered it in a demolition derby.
- In "Revenge of the Trees", he and Carl dumped oil in a forest.
- In "Video Ouija", he killed himself out of spite just so he could try terrorizing Meatwad by haunting him through his video game.
- In "Robositter", he locked Meatwad in a freezer by taping it shut while Meatwad was hallucinating from pills.
- In "Ezekiel," when the namesake character was believed to be Shake's son, he didn't show any care for him at all and verbally abused him throughout the episode. He put him a brick above him while he was swimming which caused that Ezekiel almost drowns and drag him to be a basketball star, during a basketball match and Ezekiel lost when the ball didn't got through the hop, Shake just insults him when he was already crying. He even wanted Ezekiel to slit his throat so that he'd feel guilty about "what he's doing to [Shake]."
- In "The Marines", he killed a cat with a drill. He also tried to commit draft evasion by shooting himself with a shotgun, although this didn't work.
- In "The Granite Family", Shake started a nuclear holocaust by sneaking into The Oval Office in an attempt to remake The Granite Family, an old show written in the 50's, so that he could connect and relate to it. This wiped out all life on Earth, and he did not show any emotion besides frustration over the aftermath being nothing like The Granite Family (a parody of The Flintstones).
- In "Reedickyoulus", he microwaved Meatwad's pets, killing them, and then had sex with them after they were brought back to life.
- In "Lasagna", he tricked Carl into killing himself by putting lasagna near his hospital window, causing his death as he jumps to get the lasagna.
- In "Zucotti Manicotti", he tricked Meatwad into killing the titular character, causing Meatwad to become suicidal.
- In "Juggalo", he caused a car accident by dropping some concrete on a freeway, killing at least one person. He did this simply because he thought it would be funny.
- Throughout "Multiple Meat", he killed Meatwad and then sliced his duplicates in half at least 107 different times.
- In "Freedom Cobra", he ate a dog alive and burped out its collar.
- He stalked his ex-girlfriend, Freda, in hopes of winning her back.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- All of Shake's actions are played for laughs thanks to his incompetence, as well as the nature of the show, which heavily relies on crude humor.
- He genuinely loved his cat and was distraught when he accidentally killed him.
- He also loves and cares about Meatwad and Frylock despite how much he picks on and tortures them, even protecting them at times, sacrificing himself to save Meatwad and admitting that he bullied Meatwad in a misguided attempt to toughen him up, showing genuine concern when his attempts to cheer up a cancer-ridden Frylock failed, and being willing to sacrifice his own life to cure Frylock's cancer.
