Mario is one of the two main protagonists (alongside SMG4) of the 2011 Australian adult-animated sitcom web series SMG4.
He is an idiotic Italian plumber who assists his roommate SMG4 on many wacky adventures. He is loosely based on the iconic Nintendo character of the same name.
His voice is provided by Uberduck.ai's Mario voice and Charles Marinet's voice clips. While singing in "Don't Hug Me I'm Mario" and when rapping in War of the Fat Italians videos, he is played by David Phillips.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- He accidentally ruined Enzo's birthday while destroying the castle and didn't even care about it, which would end up turning Enzo into a vengeful sociopath.
- He killed a Bob-omb after killing its father right in front of it in "Sob Story: a tale of a Bob-Omb" without any remorse.
- He threatened to murder SMG4's family if the latter did not give him a shout-out on YouTube in "YouTube Mario."
- He threw a bomb at Chain Chomp even after hearing he just wanted to be friends in "Who let the chomp out."
- He burned down his entire school in "The (TOTALLY ACCURATE) Documentary Of Mario."
- He tortured Luigi simply because he owed him money in "R64: We're going on a Luigi Hunt."
- In "WOTFI 2014," he raped SMG4 just to win one of the challenges.
- He threatened to do something “very illegal” to a Goomba if it didn’t say who it worked for in "Mario Mafia." He would also do this again in later episodes:
- In "SMG4 MOVIE: 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL," he made this exact same threat to Toast Guy because he wouldn't give him his toast.
- In "Stupid Mario 3D All-Stars," he had one of the other Marios actually do something "very illegal" to SMG4 (albeit they just trapped him in a cage, which is nothing compared to his other crimes).
- In "The Meme Games 2022," he made this threat again before attacking everyone competing in the games due to the challenge being titled "Mario's Gonna Do Something Very Illegal."
- He slapped the asses of everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom in "Mariobusters."
- He forced his friends into life-threatening challenges in "Mario’s Jackass."
- He cooked Yoshi’s daughter in "The Mario Cafe."
- He ran over and killed a civilian and framed Luigi, Bob Bobowski and Fishy Boopkins for it in "Mario’s Prison Escape."
- He kicked a plane pilot out of a plane, causing the plane to crash, in "Mario Gets Stuck On An Island."
- According to "SMG4 Bloopers: Secret Life of Goombas," he stomped on over 2 trillion Goombas which caused Goombini to try executing him for revenge.
- He dismantled Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony in "Mario’s Big Chungus Hunt."
- He caused mayhem and destruction in Isle Delfino just to get Shine Sprites in "Stupid Mario Sunshine."
- He placed an island into chaos after becoming mayor in "If Mario was in Animal Crossing."
- He frequently kicks JubJub (a child) whenever he encounters him, though, JubJub seems to like it.
- He becomes a tyrant in "Mario the Supreme Leader," even ordering the deaths of multiple toads later on in the episode.
- He kicked Mufasa off a cliff in said episode.
- He caused major chaos in "Mario gets W O K E," such as:
- Repeatedly getting Luigi’s dick eaten by a fish despite him being his own brother.
- Changing Peach (and later reducing her quality) and Meggy's voices into different languages.
- Speeding up Bowser when he plays with Bowser Jr., causing the latter to fly off the swing.
- Turning Toad into a baby and then kicking him.
- Scaring SMG4 by making his video come to life.
- Getting Axol taken away to the Internet Graveyard by an Oof Button, causing him to lose his sanity.
- Messing up Toadsworth's proposal by getting him ring taken away by Bob, and then replaying the scene where he gets run over by a car.
- He ejected a baby (actually a mini crewmate) into space in "If Mario was Among Us."
- He got the entire gang killed in the Circle Challenge in "What if Mario Had $10,000,000."
- He attempted to turn everyone in the world into NFTs, effectively trapping them in fates worse than death. Also, when his furious friends confront him for this, he shows no remorse for what he did and cowardly tries to beg for mercy by saying it was just a prank, then receives his well-deserved karma when SMG4 turns him into an NFT as punishment.
- He killed a blue Pikmin out of spite for dunking spaghetti in the toilet because he hates spaghetti, so an angry Mario killed him with a blender in "Mario Reacts To CURSED Nintendo Commercials."
- He nuked a planet Rosalina was on for drawing Among Us.
- He called the Satan to have him summon a lava at the entire Mushroom Kingdom, which may have killed several people there, though he managed to fix it after he gets to the last surviving crafting table.
- He kidnapped many people and his friends to play his Meme Games.
- He stole Wheeler's liver in "Mario Steals Your Liver." Though to be fair, the liver was originally his and Bob stole it since he was the first one to fall asleep at their sleepover.
- He repeatedly taunted Meggy for being unable to bowl a strike in "Stupid Mario Bowling." Not only that, but he also threatened to hurt a bowling ball's children if it hit the gutter.
- He went on a rampage throughout a city and assaulted multiple people just for having to go on a diet in "Mario Goes On A Diet."
- It's also worth noting that earlier in the episode when Tari begins to cry after he destroys her Wii Balance Board, he shows zero remorse and makes a joke about it.
- He harmed the environment in order to construct his pizza shop in "Mario Harms The Environment."
- In "SMG4: The Lads Play Shrek Online," he burned down an entire village for no reason other than his own enjoyment, and then sent the surviving villagers to Dark Souls to be killed by a boss. In the same episode, he also killed a merchant to steal his donkey.
- He stole SMG3's notebook under Marty's orders in hopes of gaining the "pizza recipe" off of his notebook.
- He burned Luigi, his own brother, to almost killed, just for coughing and merely suspecting that he was a "spy."
- He tried to kill SMG4 and SMG3 with a chainsaw, although Marty Mart prevents customers from harming each other.
- It is implied that him shooting Depresso, caused the latter's breaking point to get revenge on society alongside an army of rats.
- He constantly annoyed Mr. Puzzles just for fun. While Mr. Puzzles isn't any better himself as he trapped the gang (including Mario himself) in his shows, once again, Mario still annoyed him just for the heck of it.
- In SMG4 Movie: PUZZLEVISION, he didn't go save his friends or even show concern about them. Later on, when Mr. Puzzles tried to trap him in his shows again, Mario brutally attacked him, to the point Mr. Puzzles was so afraid he had to flee just to ensure his own survival. Granted that, once again, Mr. Puzzles deserved it, he was just upset his TV time was taken from him. It's later shown he hasn't given up his hatred to him for this, as he went house to house, destroying TV's, and assaulting Vox (non-canonically), all because he wants to find Mr. Puzzles and get revenge on him for something very petty.
- He possibly was the virus in SMG4’s video The Mario PC virus.
- In IT'S A Me..., corrupted and almost destroying the Showgrounds for just to pranking and very scaring SMG4 and SMG3.
- While Niles did worse as he destroyed multiple universes and tried to destroy SMG4's universe also, he had more resources than Mario, and while Mr. Puzzles was also more heinous, he had lots of tools to help him in his goals, such as a keyboard and a simulation facility and subject more people than Mario in fates worse than death. Therefore, Mario had fewer resources than him as well.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- His actions are pretty much played for laughs, as he's never taken seriously and on the rare occasions that he is, it’s typically when he’s the protagonist. It doesn't help that he is very incompetent due to being in a comedic setting. In short, he is too comedic to ever be NPE or PE, and even when he's a villain, he still has lots of comedic moments well detract from his villainy.
- He’s on and off, as he’s typically genuinely heroic during arcs, despite was more like a anti-hero.
- While he may often be a jerk to his friends, he does legitimately care about them, the biggest examples of these include him being genuinely sad when Luigi seemingly dies in "SMG4: Mario SAW," trying to cheer up Fishy Boopkins, went hell and back to save Meggy from Francis, him comforting Meggy during Desti's funeral, became genuinely saddened over Greg's death because was one of his best friend's and was very sad when was dying by Lawyer Kong and was trying to bring them back in the Lawsuit Arc and get the Parody Contract in, and being genuinely hurt by SMG4's breakdown in "MAR10 Day," and is heavily implied who respect them.
- He's very tragic due to originally being like his Nintendo counterpart but became the way he is now due to SMG4’s Guardian Pod zapping him, was thrown out of a moving car by his father and thus grew up without any proper parenting and was forced to make games for Miyamoto since childhood to make his to hate the work because was very suffer and is victim of his stupidity personality because almost killed by his friends many times for some of stupid things and don't trust him. While it doesn't justify most of his actions as he has a different clear moral agency, it's still played sympathetically.
- There are moments where he's shown to have genuine standards.
- In "The Wacky Wario Bros.: Golfing for Gold", he got angry at how Toad supposedly fludged the results in the golfing championship (even though Wario and Waluigi actually did it, making it look like it was Toad), then he and Daisy chased Toad to give him a lesson.
- He's genuinely horrified of what Francis and Niles did to Desti, Spudnick, and Axol.
- He was also disgusted by Bob when he emotionally hurt Fishy Boopkins to the point he violently yelled at him to get lost and stating that no one forgives him, as well as when he dissed him and all of their other friends as if they meant nothing to him.
- Despite how stupid he is, he calls SMG4 a dumbass motherf**ker for stupidly bankrupting himself by buying a million rocks, he even finds serval “Life Hacks” such as using ketchup as a bookmark downright ridiculous. In Who Let the Chomp Out he understandably calls SMG4 stupid again for stupidly throwing a power star at a chain chomp.
- He is disgusted by zoophilia and pedophilia as he passed the Kongs, Koopalings, and Bowser Jr. and he was horrified to see baby Mario in a smash or pass video
- In many episodes of SMG4 Crew whenever his friends show sussy behavior he shows visible suspicion and concern and even disgust .an example, was when he alongside bob, Meggy, Toad, Tari and SMG4 were all concerned and disgusted at Luigi after hearing he said he would kiss a long legged toad in Mario react to TikTok ft Luigi.
- He is even disgusted by seeing an incest as in "Mario Googles Himself," seeing him and Luigi kissing drives him to suicide and is traumatized of Luigi giving birth to his kids. even in a previous video when he searched up Mario and Luigi after seeing a meme where Peter Griffen searched it up and said it was the worst mistake of his life. Likewise, he was horrified at seeing a Mario x Luigi image and angrily asked the viewers what is wrong with them. In Mario Reacts To Nintendo Memes 14 ft. SMG4 the video of Mario and Luigi kissed him horrified and disgusted him so much that he joins smg3 in blowing up the earth saying it needed to be cleansed.
- in that same exact Video he and Smg4 were greatly horrified at seeing an image of an Half naked Morshu.
- He became terrified of Fishy Boopkins going insane when he became the "Lava King" as a result of himself summoning lava at the entire Mushroom Kingdom, so that's why he went to the last crafting table to get rid of it.
- In "Mario Reacts To Cursed Mobile Game Ads", he gets disgusted at most of the ads he was watching, especially the last one, which made him to disconnect himself from existence as it was too late for him to forget the ad.
- In Mario Googles Himself it is shown that he is against cursed images as he angrily wanted the picture of Maui’s face on a Goomba's body to be deleted and was horrified at seeing a picture of minions dressed up as Mario characters,
- In Mario plays cursed maeio games he got angry at seeing himself naked in Mario takes a shower (although one could argue that he was being a hypocrite as in previous videos he was fine with being naked but his version was totally fine since his moments was always in n64 form while naked in Mario takes a shower was inappropriate to the point where the video censored it) so much that he puts the computer which has the game into a briefcase, then into a microwave, then into a refrigerator before taking it outside and kicking it into the sun essentially destroying it.
- He is a villain by proxy, as his current personality is a result of him getting zapped by SMG4's guardian pod and him never wishing to be evil.
- He can be very remorseful of his actions sometimes, as he apologized for accidentally crushing Oofio's girlfriend or ruining his friends' effort in creating a large pizza or when he unintentionally hurts Melony’s feelings on Christmas or was real sad about when unintentionally ruining the Swag grandmother funeral although he was influenced by the gif remote.
- He is sometimes a scapegoat and very insecure as he is sometimes treated like dirt when he hasn't done much wrong and these moments can be played sympathetically, like being abandoned by his friends in "If Mario Was The Last Man On Earth" and was hurt by everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom for destroying the Giant pizza, or when he gets attacked by fake insults and mockery in an act created by SMG4 to achieve his 5 million subscribers goal, which briefly broke him until SMG4 decided to use weapons and guns instead to attack Mario, in which Mario comically said that it felt much better.
