Mammoth Mogul is a major antagonist in Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog series.
He is a mammoth given immortality and magic powers by the Chaos Emeralds. Mogul attempted to use his powers for conquest. Later when deciding he can’t beat Sonic while he is alive, he decides to become a “legitimate” businessman and buy his time while Sonic die of old age while helping cause chaos behind the scenes, but eventually decides to redeem himself in the future and become Silver’s mentor.

What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- After gaining powers from the Chaos Emerald he used these powers to take over the entire planet and oppress the people.
- He formed the Order of Ixis which later led to Ixis Naugus’ rise to power making Mogul responsible for his villainy.
- In his second attempt at world domination, he went to war with the Echidna of Albion in a war that nearly destroyed the planet.
- He formed the Fearsome Foursome and stole the chaos emeralds from Angel Island which would cause the island to fall.
- He used his illusion powers to manipulate the Freedom Fighters and Chaotix into fighting each other so they might be destroyed.
- He freed Dimitri, the second Enerjak to use as a distraction so that he could use the sword of Acorns and 11 chaos emeralds to become the all-powerful Master Mogul and conquer the world.
- He kidnapped and replaced Turbo Tails so that he could take his power to restore his own.
- He cut off Dimitri’s life support to have Chaos Knuckles fly into a rage and use the chaos syphon to drain his power for himself, resulting in Knuckles' death.
- After Knuckles’ revival, he used the imbalance in the Chaos force to become Master Mogul again and use his newfound powers to destroy millions of other universes by literally crushing them in the palm of his hand and planned to destroy the entire multiverse and remake it into one he can rule.
- He liberated the Destructix with the power of the Crown of Acorns and attempted to destroy the Freedom Fighters only to be stopped by the sacrifice of Sir Connery which destroyed the artifact he was using.
- He used Naugus to shield himself from the Egg Grapes effects which drove him mad and turned him into a feral beast, showing he doesn’t care about him.
- Using the hypnotic suggestions he put on them at certain points in their lives, he forced Mina, Mighty, and Tails to enter suicidal situations to force Sonic to free him and restore his power.
- He hired the Hooligans and the Destructix to capture Sonic for him.
- He allowed Geoffrey to restore Naugus’ sanity so that the chaos he caused would help Mogul gain power and make Sonic suffer.
- He easily passes the standard for having the highest kill count out of any character in the entire Sonic franchise with millions of universes destroyed and being the creator of the Chaos Magic.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is affable to his allies and enemies alike, always speaking in a polite and professional way to them even while committing his crimes.
- He has genuine respect for Sonic and Tails as he acknowledges Sonic will always beat him and that he will always win, and that Tails has a lot of potential and sincerely tells Tails’ father that he should be proud of him.
- He redeems himself in the future regretting not doing anything while the world is ruined and trains Silver to save the world and has lost his previous arrogant traits and now seeks to do good.
