Mad Pierrot is a minor antagonist in Cowboy Bebop, serving as the main antagonist of "Session #20: Pierrot Le Fou".
He was once a normal human who as a result of a mysterious experiment, was driven to insanity, turning into a psychotic and bloodthirsty assassin who will anyone who even has a remote glimpse of him on his quest to exact vengeance on all who experimented on him.
He was voiced by Banjō Ginga in the Japanese version, and Kevin Seymour in the English dubbed version.
Slaughtered the entire medical facility he was in, with the particular massacre being is especially brutal, the bones and ribs of the maimed bodies are exposed.
Upon seeking his vengeance, Pierrot gains a simple love for killing, going on a warpath to kill ISSP heads and everyone surrounding them brutally.
Pierrot is so bloodthirsty, he will hunt down anyone who even gets the most remote glimpse of him, gaining dozens more victims as well.
Goes on a warpath against Spike when he accidentally stumbled upon one of his assassinations and got a glimpse of his face.
Despite Cowboy Bebop's high heinous standard, Pierrot stands out for his immense body count, having amassed dozens of bodies for a lone wolf and one of the highest personal kill counts and how brutal he is at it, as well as the wanton sadistic streak he has about it that he will kill any random person for a simple glimpse on him.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
He is too tragic for NPE as in his backstory he was just an ordinary human who suffered immensely as a result of the experiments inflicting excruciating pain that his mind regressed to that of a child as a result of the trauma. Even at the present, he's shown to have a major fear of cats due to one of them being present at his experimentation, showing he is still affected by it.
Has major moral agency issues as a result of his insanity, having no actual control over his actions as a result of his mental regression to a child.
Has a sympathetic death when Spike tosses a knife at him, due to his mental regression, he falls in his knees and cries for his mother due to the pain, resembling a child lost in a amusement park, before being crushed by a parade bot, with even Spike pitying him.
