Lucy, Nyu or Kaede is the main protagonist of the Elfen Lied and Yo-Kai Watch crossover fanfiction Yo-Kai Lied: A Second Chance. She is based on the Elfen Lied character of the same name.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Heinous?[]
In General[]
- Even when factoring the fanfiction's heinous standards she would still stand out even when factoring the original events since her original crimes in the Elfen Lied Anime still allow her to qualify and none of the Yo-Kai Watch villains appeared in it either meaning she don't need to compete with them.
Yo-kai Lied: A Second Chance[]
- While offscreen they don't rely on Fridge-Horror as the narrative of the fanfiction explicitly stated the story taking place after the original Elfen Lied Anime, not mention it's events were mentioned in-story, meaning she commits the same crimes as her original counterpart which are:
- Killing Tomoo and His henchkids (named Shin and Koga in the fanfiction) and the nameless orphan girl (named Akane in the fanfiction). Unlike in original Anime where it is too viewer reliant, it went with the orphan girl unintentionally telling Tomoo in this story as revealed she had a slip of the tongue due to attempting to humanize Lucy when she accidentally told him, meaning Lucy killed an innocent person for this version.
- Killing multiple families to survive and live in their homes and killing many in the Festival Massacre.
- Killing Kouta's father and sister Kanae in front of him that ended up traumatized him.
- Killing many security guards, Sato, Kisaragi, Shirakawa, and etc.
- Mutilating and dismembering Bando and Nana to torture them with latter case to make Kurama suffer, and on the side of Bando, it is implied in the story that in their final confrontation offscreen she did kill him.
- While also meant to defend Kouta she still brutally killed soldiers.
- She would end up violently using her Vectors on the thugs when they attempted to blow up a bridge in Springdale and while justified she went overboard.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She is technically a Non-Villain by the narrative given she was already redeemed by the start of the fanfiction since the fanfiction takes place after the events of the Elfen Lied Anime meaning her villainy no longer relevant to get a Villains Fanon Wiki Page.
- Like her original counterpart she is FAR TOO tragic and sympathetic for Near Pure Evil given she shares the same history as her original counterpart since this version also goes through the following events:
- Bullied by Tomoo and his Henchkids and her dog (named Sam in the fanfiction) being killed by Tomoo breaking her that caused her villainy.
- Her being manipulated by the Diclonius DNA Voice that Kouta betrayed her and ended up killing his father and sister Kanae while feeling guilty. She even still regret it in the fanfiction's events.
- Her traumatized Aiko Takada shot by Kurama where she was upset by Kurama telling Aiko died and unlike in the original series where her fate is too viewer reliant, this story explicitly stated she died for real.
- Her being painfully experimented by the Diclonius Research Institution and one scene in the story show one of them that didn't happen in the original series only makes it worse.
- Her being shot in the original Anime makes her played for sympathy even more since it actually temporarily killed her until she was revived during the events of the story.
- She had moral agency issues since she was also manipulated by the Diclonius DNA Voice like her original Anime self, managing to get rid of her when his friends were captured by not falling into his words.
- She is a MASSIVE Scapegoat and a Villain by Proxy due to her mistreatment being what drove her to villainy in the first place like her original counterpart.
- She cares for many others like in original Elfen Lied, with addition to some of the story's original characters.
- After being On & Off due to her shared history original counterpart for awhile she would fully redeem herself by the time of the fanfiction where she willingly gonna make things up and subvert most of her violent tendencies where she now seeks to put an end to conflicts without resorting to violence, except when she sees no other option.
Trivia[]
- She is so far the only Elfen Lied Inconsistently Heinous to a Non-Villain due to the fanfiction taking place after the events of the Anime where Lucy redeemed herself makes her unable to qualify for a Villains Fanon Wiki.
- She is also the only version of the character to be a Non-Villain.
