Your little boy there. You'll die protecting him. You may be able to keep this up a while longer, but eventually he'll slow you down. A walker you didn't spot... a bullet you couldn't dodge. A desperate cry for help that brings the herd. It happened to Lee... and it'll happen to you.
~ Lilly to Clementine.

Lilly is a major antagonist in Telltale's The Walking Dead video game series.

She is both a quick thinker and a leader; she is also very blunt. However, she does have a kinder side to her, and will appreciate others when they deserve it, but since her bossy and uptightness shows far more often, this is rare to occur.

In the first season, she is a major character, in which she serves as one of the key people and leaders of the motel group. She later returns as the main antagonist of the fourth and final season, in which she is a leading member of a group of raiders called The Delta. She is also the former friend-turned second archenemy of Clementine.

She was voiced by Nikki Rapp.

Her Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Her Heinous?[]

  • While she was a valuable member of the motel survivors for three months, after the death of her father Larry, she becomes more paranoid and starts losing trust in everyone.
    • When she finds out someone has been slipping the Save-Lots Bandits' supplies, she grills Ben hard and can end up shooting Carley in cold blood or accidentally shooting Doug while intending to shoot Ben.
  • If Lee decides to take Lilly with the rest of the group, she will steal Kenny's RV and run away from the group.
  • Years after her departure from the motel survivors, she became the leader of the S.S Fitzgerald Crew of a group named the Delta, which is kidnapping children and having them unwillingly fight in their war.
  • Constantly pressured Marlon into handing over some students from the Boarding School, which resulted in kidnapping twins Sophie and Minerva. The case also caused Marlon's downfall and death.
  • When the twins tried to leave, Lilly manipulated Minerva to kill Sophie.
  • Holds Clementine and AJ at gunpoint and tries to convince them into joining the Delta.
  • Raids the Boarding School with her crew and sets it on fire with Molotov.
  • Stabs Mitch in the neck and later in the head when he tries to save Tenn from her. Note that Lilly is stunned after she stabs Mitch, as it was an accident on the other hand.
  • Although did look horrified after accidentally murdering Mitch and even puts him out of his misery after doing so, looking stunned and shaken before trying to brush it off, she still orders her soldiers to kill whoever they have to, meaning that this could’ve been shock rather than remorse.
  • If she kidnaps Louis, she will order Dorian to cut off his tongue for talking too much, leaving him mute and traumatized.
  • Orders Dorian to cut off Louis/Violet’s finger off and succeeds if AJ doesn't stop her.
  • Captures James and gets ready to kill him before Clementine interferes.
  • Attempts to, and determinately succeeds to, manipulate AJ and Clementine into not killing her by pretending to give up and beg them cowardly for her own life.
  • If AJ spares her, she will kill James, who was vouching for her survival. After James has died, Lilly aims the gun at AJ, but before she could do anything the bomb goes off.
  • If she is spared, she’ll leave the battlefield after the bombs go off, with the rest of her raiders getting killed and she can get away with her actions. Even though the battle was hopeless for her, it is still horrible to leave her soldiers like this.

What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]

  • She is too tragic and sympathetic to be considered Near Pure Evil:
    • She always loved her father Larry, feeling devastated when he is killed and starts to resent Kenny for it. This carries over afterwards whenever his name is brought up in a negative light, and always treasures fond memories of him.
    • After all the pressure and many downfalls she went through season 1, she in devastating tone talks about how she lost everything again.
    • She reveals her insecurities through body language when Clementine said Lilly will not hurt her family.
    • Her final scene is played for sympathy. While able to escape alive, she's mourning the terrible fate of her soldiers, and felt remorse for leaving them to die.
    • She can even sadly agree with Clem that she doesn't deserve anyone and would be better for her to work alone.
  • While twisted, she cares for Clementine as she tried her best to get her on her side and sometimes hesitated when she had to kill her, and felt ashamed at herself for letting her down during the final episode.
  • She is loyal to her community and cares for her people, especially Abel who she was close with and seemed very unfortunate when finding out he was dead.
  • She is an extremist, as her crimes and goals were all to save her people and to try to fit in.

Trivia[]

  • Lilly was originally approved to be Near Pure Evil because of her ruthless and sadistic nature, but was removed after it was decided her preventions were too severe.
