He was portrayed by Jonathan Groff.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- He started the American Revolutionary War by relentlessly taxing the American colonies, which caused them to start a revolution to fight back, with thousands of soldiers dying during this war.
- While this wasn't confirmed to be his intention, in his letter to the American colonies, he said that he would "send a fully armed battalion" to them and kill their friends and family members to remind them they belong to him, and said he would "fight the fight and win the war", showing that he plans to use the war to his advantage to get the Americans back under his control.
- He showed no concern about one of his guards killing a person on-screen, instead just using it to show he is serious about his threats.
- After the American colonies won the war, he told them that if their people say they hate them, he will refuse to take them back.
- When John Adams was elected President, he became ecstatic about the fact that the Americans "will tear each other into pieces".
- When Hamilton released the Reynolds Pamphlet, ruining his career in the process, King George helped rub it in by dancing and throwing copies around.
- While he says he's doing his crimes to remind people of his love, it doesn't justify anything he's done and makes him come off as obsessive, especially since he calls them his to subdue, says he won't take them back if their people say they hate them, and expresses joy about them tearing each other into pieces.
- While he does say that there's nobody else in America who looms quite as large as Washington, he's just talking about the economy of the country rather than actually respecting him, and while he does say that "next to Washington they all look small" after hearing John Adams was elected, it's just him mocking Adams.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is played for laughs a lot of the time and is hardly ever taken seriously, with his entire character being a joke about him being the colonies' abusive ex-boyfriend.
