| ~ Kim Jong-il |
Kim Jong-il is the main antagonist of the 2004 film Team America: World Police.
He is a parody of the late North Korean dictator of the same name, a disguised member of the alien race Zypods from planet Gyron who plans on starting World War III by bombing every major city on Earth.
He was voiced by Trey Parker, who also voices Eric Cartman, Mickey Mouse and many other characters in South Park.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- Arranged multiple terrorist attacks around the world.
- Fed Hans Blix to his pet shark when he came looking for WMD's.
- Captured Team America when a mission went sideways and bombed their base in Mount Rushmore.
- Teamed up with the Film Actor's Guild to defame Team America and boost his public image.
- Invites members of the Film Actor's Guild to a fake peace ceremony in North Korea, where he secretly plans to launch the missiles at every major city on Earth and destroy humanity as well as start World War 3, nearly killing billions of innocent people.
- After he is defeated, it's revealed that he's actually an alien cockroach before he escapes and vows revenge against Team America.
- While he mentions in the song "You Are Worthless, Alec Baldwin" that his actual goal was to find a new home for his race, it still doesn't excuse his evil actions, as he never tries to find a less lethal solution to this problem.
- There's no evidence that he cares for his fellow Zypods, as he may be working for them simply because they have authority over him, which is implied by his fearing punishment for his failure.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- The film relies on the same type of satirical humor that South Park does, meaning nothing is taken seriously and Kim Jong-il is played for laughs far too much to be considered Near Pure Evil or even Pure Evil. Furthermore, he is a parody of his real life counterpart.
- He has insecurities that are played for slight sympathy in “I’m So Ronery“, although this is a minor prevention as the song is meant to be comedic.
Trivia[]
- Kim Jong-il is the only Inconsistently Heinous character voiced by Trey Parker who isn't from South Park.
