Jin Seon-moo is a major antagonist in the the Korean Drama TV Show All of Us Are Dead. He was a military commander and high-ranking official in the South Korean goverment, who was in charge of Hyosan after it was declared martial law.
He was portrayed by Kim Jong-tae.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- He had all the communication devices and the internet in Hyosan disabled, making Cheong-san unable to call for outside help (although he did this in order to stop fake news from spreading).
- After finding out about the existence of individuals who are infected but are asymptomatic (hambies), Seon-moo ordered his soldiers to leave the Hyosan High School without bringing any of the surviving students, putting the students' lives at risk as they are being abandoned at a school full of zombies.
- When Cheong-san tried to convince them not to leave them in the school, Seon-moo ordered one of his soldiers to kill Cheong-san and the 8 other students in his group even though there was no proof that they were infected or that they posed any threat to his soldiers. Thankfully, the soldier refused to kill them, although he left them in the school anyway and this would lead to the deaths of Wu-jin, Ji-min, Joon-yeong and the infection and possible death of Cheong-san.
- He ordered his soldiers to launch missiles in Hyosan to kill all the zombies despite knowing that there were around 10000 uninfected or asymptomatic people still in Hyosan.
- Overall, he's the most heinous character in the show since Byeong-chan causing the outbreak was unintentional and Gwi-nam, who, despite being Pure Evil and having far lower resourses, has nowhere the same amount of kills Seon-moo has.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Despite his actions, he's still a well-intentioned extremist due to all that he did is to make sure the virus doesn't spread and that the people of Hyosan are safe, no matter the cost.
- He was originaly going to save the surviving students in the Hyosan High School, and only didn't because he found out that there was no way to prove that people weren't infected after seeing Eun-ji (who is a halfbie) eat a person and attack his soldiers at the quarantine camp. Because of this, he didn't want to take the risk that the students may be infected to avoid more people being killed at the quarantine camp.
- He ordered his soldiers to sound evacuation warnings nonstop at Hyosan and its surrounding areas until right before launching the missiles, to make sure that as many survivors as possible could get out and look for shelter.
- These warnings were heard by Nam-ra, who told the other students in her group, and they became aware that they had to leave the area.
- He loves his wife and children, as he called his wife before killing himself and even asked her how his children were doing.
- He felt great remorse for his actions, to the point he discharged himself and gave his rank to another official, and killed himself over what he did.
- He's affable towards most people, such as his soldiers and even some of the refugees of the outbreak.
