Izis is the main antagonist of the mobile game That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Memories.
She is the Ruler of the Mirror World who is originally an enemy of Rimuru Tempest before redeeming herself to fight against her creator Cliché.
She was voiced by Rie Takahashi.

- While it was shown in a flashback of her creating mirror copies of others ideal selves, many of it was not shown or confirmed how many was killed due to it being an still image with audio and dialogue text due to the limitations of it being an mobile game.
What Makes Her Heinous?[]
In General[]
- Since the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime as a Slime: ISEKAI Memories is a separate continuity based on the Anime, it has a much lower heinous standard than the original Light Novel to allow her to stand out meaning she don't need to compete with Feldway, Rudra Nam Ul Nasca, Michael and Ivaragé as an result, plus they are far more powerful and unfair comparisons to her anyways.
- While her ability to create anything might give her very high resources on paper, due to it's catches of requiring someone's desires or wishes while close to a reflective surface, plus her being restricted to pulling others into the Mirror World through said reflective surface or send her minions hinder her too much to suffering from "holding back her resources too much to do worse" as she used her resources to her fullest with those hinderances.
- While she was freed eventually she redeemed herself soon after so it doesn't effect it.
- She can't be compared to her creator Cliché due to Izis' movement too hindered and restricted during her time of villainy while Cliché's movement was not, being able to roam freely plus she had more resources to work with anyways, so she doesn't fail the heinous standard to her because of it.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Memories[]
- She attempted to kill Rimuru Tempest and his friends out of spite many times for him ruining her analyzing Unlimited Imprisonment and for granting Rimuru's wishes which ended up being being useless junk for her and causing her to trip down.
- She made numerous Mirror Copies of Rimuru Tempest’s friends and enemies alike in attempt to kill him and take Veldora's power so she can free herself.
- She manipulated Shinsha to devour multiple Mirror Copies to make the slime stronger without remorse and to make it worse they're all sapient.
- When she got Megalomania she tested it on a village by summoning in a copy of Charybdis to test it which terrorized it before she called it back.
- She attempted to get Rimuru Tempest with an Kiado Sky but ends up targeting Shinsha and Class S instead.
- She created Kokuyou an copy of Benimaru to assassinate a sleeping Rimuru Tempest during his Demon Lord Awakening which was foiled by Shinsha and Diablo.
- She created Hyuga an copy of Hinata Sakaguchi to be a weapon to kill Rimuru and tested her on Benimaru and Souei nearly killing the two out of a bit of sadism until Gobta intervened and killer Hyuga.
- She nearly destroyed the Central World when she attempted to break free when she made Shinsha's dreams brought to life to create Mad City event when she allied with Mokshan and Emils (Copies of Clayman and Emils) to break free, she only stopped it when that action would've overriden the Central World with the Mirror World which she didn’t want and allied with Rimuru Tempest out of pragmatic reasons to save it. While she didn't intend to destroy the Central World only wanting to escape she didn't feel remorse for her actions in that event.
- When she decided to try to evolve Shinsha into an True Demon Lord when she witnessed Rimuru Tempest do it himself, so she tricked Shinsha into making Spiegel maiden golems and had them kill 10,000 to meet the requirements by using her desire for an family against her by saying it was an "mother and daughter bonding activity" only for her to evolve instead of Shinsha. However unlike Rimuru's sacrifices that were all soldiers of war from Falmuth that were gonna do attempted genocide on his nation with bloodshed being unavoidable making his instance justified, Izis 10,000 kills were all innocent civilians from villages, meaning she slaughtered a bunch of innocents to do it and when Shinsha try to call her out she used Rimuru's desire to protect others against her asking her to pick them or her over.
- Even when her Unique Skills became an Ultimate Skill and could make the Mirror World an copy of the Central World with her newfound abilities, she selfishly rejected it since she called it "toy box" wanting to still escape as she feel it not the real world.
- She freed Veldora Against to have him possess Shinsha which would've killed her and then let him roam around in the Central World as part of their agreement.
- Though Veldora Against was defeated she used his energy to power herself and used it to teleport out of the Mirror World, even after getting what she wanted, she still attempted to kill Rimuru Tempest and Shinsha for getting in her way and said she was gonna kill the other Demon Lords afterwards out of spite they may get in her way. Though she was defeated they spared her and remained an Karma Houdi until Chapter 14: Fake King Brigade.
- While Clayman and Yuuki Kagurazaka attempted to do worse, they had position of government giving them higher resources than her and they had some sort of selfless goal in the end while Izis has no government position nor her acts of villainy were selfless in any way and due to her movement being restricted being confined in the Mirror World with her abilities having lots of catches giving her lower resources and lacks any selfless goals and got what she want in the allows her to stand out from them.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- Her moral agency issues are too severe for Near Pure Evil as due her isolation in the Mirror World for 300 years it made her unable to develop emotions making her unable to feel nearly all emotions save for brief instances of anger as an result, this include her sense of empathy due to her not understanding or grasping Hyuga's care of seeing her as her mother or showing no remorse for the people she killed in her time in the Mirror World which hinders her agency, as despite being able to make clear decisions it makes her too amoral because of it.
- She is tragic she was created by Cliché and was sealed in the Mirror World to keep her creation safe while making Izis take drastic measures to escape to begin with.
- She has some minor detracting moments such as tripping on the junk she created from Rimuru’s desires.
- She eventually redeems herself by teaming up with Rimuru Tempest and Shinsha against her creator Cliché. While originally it was out of pragmatism but became genuine later on once she slowly began gaining emotions and she changed for the better.
Trivia[]
- She and Forsaken Future Rimuru Tempest are the only That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime characters to be Inconsistently Heinous that originated from a video game so far.
- Even if Izis didn't redeem herself, her impaired agency would still be too much of an prevention to make her an NPE so it would still allow her qualify as an Inconsistently Heinous anyways regardless.
- While she may be Inconsistently Heinous right now, it could change when more stories are released which could end up raising the game continuity's heinous standard.
