Itchy is the titular main antagonist of the in-universe Itchy & Scratchy Show in The Simpsons. He is a clear dark parody of Jerry the Mouse who constantly kills and causes Scratchy trouble.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

  • He frequently kills Scratchy in gruesome and cruel ways, and is always the one to instigate their conflicts.
  • In one cartoon, Itchy is holding the cats and other animals in slavery, when he and scratchy lead armies against each other, Itchy announces his purpose for it is tyranny as opposed to Scratchy seeking freedom for the people.
  • In another cartoon, Itchy is a rich jerk whom kills his cat slaves and forces his surviving slaves to dispose of the bodies.
  • Once he was a tyrant ruling China whom freely killed the serfs that slaved away for him.
  • He is a bigot as he is shown to be murderously prejudiced against cats and non mouse animals for no reason, he also killed an Irishman simply for being Irish.
  • He is by no means limited to killing Scratchy, for example Itchy tricked Scratchy into inventing the nuclear bomb and further tricked him into using it on the ocean, horrifically killing countless sapient sea animals making Scratchy filled with guilt. Then later, Itchy blows up both Scratchy, a Bulldog General, and an entire town with a nuke.
  • He also casually murders children, as shown when he blows up Scratchy's daughter and runs over his son with a combine at his funeral in one episode.
  • He often intentionally kills innocent bystanders with his schemes including massacring an entire restaurant, slaughtering an entire auditorium of people, killing a dog waiter and assassinating Theodore Roosevelt among other things.
  • In one episode, when Scratchy is delivering a speech for the British troops in World War II, Itchy teams up with Adolf Hitler to kill Scratchy and horrifies the allied soldiers by radioing them Scratchy's death cries.
  • In Treehouse of Horror IX, he persuades Scratchy to help him try to kill Bart and Lisa.
  • In The Simpsons Movie, he beats Scratchy with a flag and breaks his helmet to leave him to die on the moon, having the nerve to claim he did what he could to try to save him, than becoming a corrupt President in the vein of Richard NIxon.
    • He "accidentally" launches missiles and blows up Scratchy while he's still on the moon to prevent him from telling on him.
  • He is a complete coward and never hesitates to backstab Scratchy when he's offered mercy.
  • His cruel ways of killing Scratchy go far beyond standard kill-the-heroes villainy and up until The Simpsons Movie, his resources weren't comparable to those of Russ Cargill or Mr. Burns.
  • Occasionally he gets his fellow mice people killed with no remorse.
    • On one occasion, Itchy loaded Scratchy so full of steroids so he bloated up and blew up a building full of corrupt mice politicians, killing the politicians.
    • On another occasion, Itchy and God decided to kill some random civilians along with Scratchy and send them to Hell for no reason other than sadism, with a mouse being among the innocent people seen burning in Hell.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He is played for laughs far too much to be anywhere NPE or PE, especially with the slapstick effect of his show and Scratchy invariably coming back to life.
  • He is On & Off, and it's implied that he and Scratchy are actually friends who are very successful with their acting talent for the show.
  • He genuinely loves his wife and kids.
