Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Heinous?[]
Dead Rising[]
- After the United States government wipes out almost all of the inhabitants in Santa Cabeza after accidentally getting infected, she and her brother decided to take revenge by wiping out the entire United States.
- She helped Carlito spread the zombie virus in Willamette, Colorado, causing at least 53,594 deaths.
- When Frank meets her for the third time to find out what is happening, she tries to kill him to prevent him from interfering with their plans.
- Even after she changed her mind about vengeance and decided to help Frank to stop Carlito, her redemption is only considered as selfish for following reasons:
- She was not hostile to Frank once he revealed he is a reporter, this was only because she wanted him to expose truth about Santa Cabeza's tragedy, which she herself indirectly says after Brad rejected her help.
- Although visibly mourning terrible loss of people from Santa Cabeza and her brother afterwards, she never felt a little remorse for her crimes nor shows any concern for her actions.
- Despite being taken care of by Brad and Jessie after her being shot, she never wondered for their well being or even whereabouts after Frank considered escaping.
Dead Rising 2: Case West[]
- Although she was looking for cure and planned to stop Phenotrans during the the events of second game. It is heavily implied she only did so in order to escape working for Marian and get herself out of jail, even if she deserves to be behind bars.
Dead Rising 3[]
- When Nick Ramos, the orphan with the cure, calls her out for causing the outbreak in Willamette along with her brother Carlito, instead of accepting her mistakes, she lies about it, saying she was falsely accused of the outbreak and blames all on her brother for it, shows how she refuses to take responsibility even after many years.
- She tries to convince Nick, Chuck Greene and Annie to leave the city of the Los Perditos and ignore Hemlock, despite how dangerous the latter is and the damage he will cause if the heroes do not stop him.
- If the S rank is achieved in the game and the secret ending, it is revealed that she was the one who orchestrated the zombie infestation in Los Perdidos, causing the deaths of thousands of people in order to find the cure for the zombies and be heralded as a hero, something that even surprises Marian Mallon herself. She even makes it clear that she couldn't care less about the lives that will be lost to her infection.
- With this, it is shown majority of her redeeming qualities are gone and the relationships she once valued are no more due to envy or being obstruction to her goals.
- Although she does remain somewhat affable in third installment, it is only so she can get Nick and rest to believe her "innocence" and even before outbreak she was perfectly okay to talk negatively about Frank West and Chuck Greene, just out of her own pride and envy than any reason excusable.
- Ultimately, she gets away with all her crimes and receives no punishment for them, realizing everything, she only smiles about it as she leaves with game to mark her the devil who grins for pride.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She has a genuinely tragic and sympathetic background, once lived peacefully with her family in Santa Cabeza, only for government to cause zombie outbreak and later having Brock Mason and Special Forces kill all of zombies and survivors so no one can expose them. Even after 15 years, she can remember everything that happened perfectly and is still saddened about it, hinting she would rather return to her old life than be involved in this.
- Although extremely pragmatic and heartless to core, she plays anti-heroic roles in series where she is fighting for the greater good, even if it's out of self-serving reasons, as she has never betrayed heroes even if she gets upper hand.
