Hecatia Lapislazuli or Hecate is the secret boss of Touhou Project: Legacy of the Lunatic Kingdom and one of its main antagonists.
She is a mysterious and eccentric goddess of who rules over the hells of all Universes, and works with Junko to attack the Lunar Capital in an attempt to assassinate Chang'e.

What Makes Her Heinous?[]
- Since the Animal Realm is part of Hell, and Hell is an anarchic-like place without regulation, she indirectly allows human spirits to be enslaved by beast youkai as part of the Social Darwinistic society the beast youkai have.
- She worked with Junko to create a plan to destroy the Lunar Capital and assassinate Chang'e through a massive terrorist attack using fairies to poison the Lunarians with impurities.
- While Junko was more focused on getting to Chang'e and killing her, Hecatia was more focused on destroying the Lunar Capital as a whole.
- Trapped the Lunarians and held them hostage inside the Dream Realm.
- Attacked the heroines when they confronted her in the Extra Stage.
- Despite her having a massive amount of resources, she stands out for assisting Junko with her invasion.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She's too much of a grey-zoned extremist, as while Junko attacks the Lunar Capital out of hatred and desire to harm Chang'e, Hecatia wanted to destroy the Lunar Capital out of disapproval of their ways, wanting to take down the hegemony they have over the Moon, and the fact they have done actions that have negatively affected hell in past such as shooting down the suns.
- She is genuinely affable to others. In her boss battle, she wasn't even trying to kill the heroines but simply play around with them.
- She cares for her friend Junko and her servant Clownpiece, treating the latter like a daughter and wanting the best for her.
- She has done a lot of admirable actions, as it is revealed she prevents the malevolent and powerful forces of hell from attacking Gensokyo by keeping them in line, and also her calling off the invasion plan to prevent the Lunarians from exterminating all life in Gensokyo, with it being confirmed that she outright helps protect Gensokyo.
- She has comedic moments due to many aspects of her very eccentric personality, such as when the heroines casually call her a 'Freaky T-shirt weirdo' despite the fact she is literally the goddess of hell.
