In General[]
- Despite being made from an Elemental of Darkness he has an clear personality and moral agency.
- While he is an On & Off he has not felt remorse for most of his past actions and not making up for it meaning it was not a true redemption meaning he remains unpunished for his actions making him an Karma Houdini.
- Despite the very high heinous standard of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime where genocide is common, Guy Crimson stands out for doing his worst acts when he was far weaker and had fewer resources than his present day self, where he slowly and painfully tortured all the people of two large nations to death that were larger than the present day ones in the series with only Rain and Misery's assistance than the more destructive villains in the present.
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- He killed Rain and Misery when they were competing for control of the Demon Realm, while he did do it out of self defense he overdo it by crushing their heart cores which killed them and revive them. He sometimes call Rain useless when she fails to him at times.
- When a member of the Super-Magic Empire summoned him to be an doomsday weapon to destroy it's rival nation and after fulfilling his end when his summoner failed to give him proper payment he destroyed his summoners nation where he summoned Rain and Misery to slowly and painfully torture all the people of both nations to death slowly and painfully. In the Light Novel it was stated Super-Magic Empire had an population in the Millions. This act also rendered the High Humans Extinct.
- He attempted to challenge Veldanava the creator of the world to an fight.
- Though was out of self defense when he clashed with the Ice Dragon Velzard their fight shifted the planet’s axis messing up the eliminate and was fully aware of it as he only laughed a bit at those who were effected.
- He sends demons to cull down humanity every several centuries to keep their numbers down.
- While he did promise to stop to Rimuru Tempest in the present when he proposed an alternative, Guy would say he would resume it if Rimuru's method fails
- He agreed to play an game with Rudra Nam Ul Nasca using their forces as pawns in an long game which would indirectly would have consequences later on in the series which got many killed in doing so.
- He did multiple perverted acts towards Leon Cromwell.
- He also threatened to kill Leon Cromwell if he killed Ramiris despite them being friends.
- He intimidated Rimuru Tempest to rename the Ten Great Demon Lords into Octogram.
- Ordered Misery to kill all of the members of the Counsel of the West to drive humanity into fear only to be thwarted by Testarossa.
- He pressured Rimuru Tempest to awaken Rain and Misery using human souls collected from the Eastern Empire's invasion by threatening to destroy him and his nation.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- While he did do very terrible acts he can't be PE or NPE since he is an Grey Zone character like many of the villains of the series and has too many redeeming qualities:
- He is an well intended extremist as he culls humanity down to prevent themselves from destroying each other and only play the role of Demon Lord to unite humanity against an common foe to prevent themselves from destroying each other making himself an willingly scapegoat to preserve balance to the Central World.
- He is an On & Off as done many heroic acts before in his acts in protecting the Central World and preserving the balance before.
- While he did cull humanity numerous times he isn't xenophobic to them he only hate some yet like some at the same time and doesn't want them wiped out.
- He has many standards such as not using his full power as it would end up destroying all of mankind if he do so.
- He is very affiable to many others like Rain, Misery, Velzard and the other Demon Lords.
- He is very honorable to some people like Rudra, Leon Cromwell, and Rimuru Tempest.
- He is capable of feeling remorse as he felt bad for Rudra being depressed of Luica and Veldanava's deaths and only continued his game with him to to keep his friend's mental state intact.
