Yummy!
~ Grey Goo, while eating things.

The Grey Goo is the main protagonist of Tasty Planet video game series.

He is based upon the theoretical doomsday super-organism of the same name and much like its potential real-life counterpart, his sole purpose in life is to spread via devouring every living (and non-living) being into his nano-based form.

Unlike the theoretical entity however this Grey Goo seems to be fully independent with actual sapience rather than base instinct and the second game employs fanciful notions such as digesting a time-travel machine, allowing the Grey Goo to travel across time himself and devour all life on Earth from the prehistoric age all the way up to the distant future.

Its Evil Ranking[]

What Makes him Heinous?[]

Tasty Planet[]

  • After him getting free in the laboratory, he bites the young scientist and gets inside of him to eat his red and white blood cells.
  • After being trapped and threw away into the ocean by the scientists, he eats dozens of fishes, dolphins and sharks.
  • Landing in a park, he eats various animals and gets big enough to start to eat humans.
  • Continuing on from the park, in the whole city, he eats lots of humans, transport and buildings.
  • On the sky, he eats numerous counts of aircrafts.
  • After launching into the orbit, he eats astronauts, spacecraft (including Sputnik and the International Space Station) and eventually the Moon itself.
  • When several UFOs try to stop him, Gray Goo destroys them; killing everyone on the ship.
  • Consumes the Earth along with the rest of the solar system and even the neighboring stars.
  • Starts consuming star systems and even black holes to the point that he can consume the entire galaxy.
  • Eats the galaxy in which the aliens from before live in.
  • Starts eating galaxies and since aliens are confirmed to exist, he probably killed billions.
  • When it had already consumed all the matter in the universe, he finished eating the universe itself until he reached a size too big for the laws of physics, to the point of imploding and creating another universe.

Tasty Planet: Back For Seconds[]

  • In the laboratory, he eats his creator's time machine, causing he to be sent back in time.
  • In Late Cretaceous, he eats numerous dinosaurs.
  • He destroys Ancient Egypt, killing numerous Egyptians.
  • He also eats half of Rome along with the Coliseum, creating a new timeline where the Roman Empire never fell.
  • He eats Feudal Japan and Monsterzilla, who resembles Godzilla, causing its rival monsters (who resemble King Kong, Mothra, and King Ghidorah) to run amok in the present.
  • In Distant Future, he eats the most of the city, humans, animals and robots.
  • Eats asteroids, the Earth and the other planets of the solar system while being attacked by flying saucers.
  • Eats stars, nebulas and galaxies, eating them in groups and then clusters.
  • Eats the fabric of the universe and an infinite amount of Turtles of Time, meaning that he will never stop and is stuck eating them forever.
  • In multiplayer game mode, he has the chance of eating his fellow One-Eyed Goo when he grows enough. He also eats some other Grey Goos in bonus levels.

Tasty Planet Forever[]

  • In Mars, he eats numerous crew members, astronauts, and robot dogs.
  • Destroys numerous Martian buildings and vehicles.
  • Completely destroys Mars, the Earth and the whole solar system.
  • Consumes numerous stars, nebulae, space manta rays, star clusters.
  • Consumes the Milky Way, and eats galaxies, groups, clusters, and superclusters.
  • Eats the Noodle Monster, who is the god of Pastafarianism.
  • Consumes the entire universe and countless universes more.
  • Begins to devour the entire multiverse. Since the universes looks like quarks, it is left implicit that this has happened and that will happen countless times more.

What Makes him Inconsistent?[]

  • The Tasty Planet game series are not made to be taken seriously, serving as a parody of the gray goo end-of-the-world scenario.
  • In the original Tasty Planet, the Grey Goo was created specifically to eat stuff smaller than himself, making him amoral.

Trivia[]

  • It is the only Inconsistently Heinous of the Tasty Planet franchise.
