“ | Oh: Long ago, our enemy, the "Gorg", invited the Boov for a peace meeting… but Smek wisely fled in terror and he took a great trophy, the "Shusher". Tip: Why is it called the "Shusher"? |

~ Oh telling Tip about the story between Gorg and Smek, which that flashback is completely foreshadowed the Gorg's breakdown. |
“ | Tip: What was all that? Oh: Not all Gorg speak like human's words, but it turns out, he wasn't here because of my invitation, though Gorg would have been happy to attend. Gorg was here because he was tracking the rock. Lucy: What was in that thing? Oh: Gorg Family, it is the entire next generation. Lucy: All of them? Oh: All of them. [Gorg Commander returns to his ship with his children and leaves Earth.] Tip: No wonder they kept chasing you. Oh: Not they, he. Because apparently, that Gorg is last Gorg. That was why the rock was so important to him. Without it, he would be lonely, and would someday "extinctly". He would been cranky, irrational, and physically violent, he was just like human's girl. He was sad mad. |

The Gorg Commander, later known as K-Trong, is the overarching antagonist of the 2015 DreamWorks animated film Home and a formerly recurring minor character in its 2016 sequel series, Home: Adventures with Tip and Oh. He is the last remaining Gorg. He sought after his children since they were taken away, and he became a villain as a result. In a desperate attempt to get back his children, he attempted to destroy planets in a frantic attempt to get his kids back.
He was voiced by Brian Stepanek in the film and by Tom Kenny in the series.
His Evil Ranking[]
What makes him heinous?[]
Background[]
- When Oh tells Tip the legend of the Shusher, he mentions that the Gorg invited the Boov to a peace meeting. While this act ultimately detracts from his villainy due to its heroic nature, it demonstrates that the Gorg were the enemy of the Boov long before the theft of his egg. Given that Smek fled from the meeting, it is further implied that he still feared the Gorg for an off-screen action.
Home[]
- After Smek stole his egg, the Gorg Commander swore to find his egg, even taking revenge on the Boov by destroying them.
- Whenever the Boov find a new home, he destroys their new home no matter where he finds them.
- He attempts to destroy Earth and the human race.
- While attacking the Boov on Earth, his spaceship can be seen slicing through a ring of Saturn, indicating that he holds no concern for planets the Boov are not on.
- His attack on Earth inadvertently causes Slushious to break down, as when Oh attacks a Gorg drone with Burrito Torpedo, a piece of the drone hits the flying car, knocks out the Slushious fuel tank, and causes it to crash and stop operating until Oh finds a Gorg superchip in a crashed drone.
- Despite the fact Smek is a comedic antagonist, Gorg Commander is taken seriously and complete opposite of Smek's comedic nature and played as a legit threat.
- While the Gorg Commander has some implied off-screen villainy due to inviting the Boov to a peace meeting, he does not rely on it, as his worst actions were fueled by the theft of the Shusher.
Home: Adventures with Tip and Oh[]
- In "Sitting on Babies", he crushes half of a citizen’s car with his spaceship.
- He has several villainous moments in "Lords N Lazers":
- When setting up the teams for the game, he attempts to rig the game in his favor by granting himself, Donny, and Bloomp buffs to make them more likely to win, while making Oh, Tip, and Zebilweg’s avatars have less power to make them inferior.
- When Zebilweg crushes Donny and Bloomp’s avatars with a pillar, he shows no care for the loss of almost all of his team.
- He exploits Zebilweg’s powers as a seer to locate him and slash him in half.
- He kills Tip by throwing her to the ground.
- Upon pulling the laser sword from the rock, he mentions that he has won the past 299 consecutive times he has played the game, implying that he has exploited his control over the game several times in the past as well.
- He arrogantly swings his sword at Oh when he shapeshifts into a disco ball, resulting in a karmic defeat where he gets his suit of armor destroyed by the refracted lasers.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He invited the Boov to a peace meeting, indicating that he was remorseful for the tensions between them.
- He is genuinely tragic because of the fact that he lost his children to Smek and is the last of his kind.
- While it is confirmed that he was at odds with the Boov even before the theft, this feud is left far too vague to detract from the tragedy, especially since Smek refused to make peace with him out of pure cowardice, coupled with how the Boov are no strangers to immoral actions (even if unwittingly).
- He genuinely loves his children as the reason why he been looking for them after the this time while the film goes on.
- He is villain by proxy and a genuine extremist anti-villain due to the fact he was trying to find his egg so he can save his species.
- After he finally found his children, he ultimately redeems himself and thanks Oh for retrieving his egg.
- His villainous actions in "Lords N Lazers" are ultimately justified in that he and the people he invited to his party were playing a VR game with no effect on the real world.
