Garfield, otherwise known as Gorefield, is an internet meme created in the r/imsorryjon subreddit. He is a parody of the famous cat who ended up becoming an evil monstrous predator obsessed with Jon.

What Makes Him Heinous?

• He constantly uses his powers to torment Jon while telling him "Bullets won't work."
• He brutally murders Odie in cold blood.
• He teleports to Liz's location to murder her as she is waiting for Jon.
• He murders Nermal out of spite.
• He stalks and kills Arlene.
• His actions lead the government to drop a nuke to stop him, essentially making him responsible for all of these deaths.
• With nothing left to eat, he swallows Jon, essentially giving him a Fate Worse than Death.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?

• He is ultimately a parody of the famous cat which is meant as black humor.
• His character traits vary depending on the writer, some of which he has moral agency issues due to being infected by a monstrous parasite and can be either tragic or fake tragic for this reason.
