With an army of Master Hands under its control, Galeem sought to create a new world. The fighters and their countless stories... came to an end as the light consumed them. Thus, the universe was crushed in the hands of Galeem. Those who fought the light were devoured. The others lost their bodies and became spirits. Only one survived... A star of hope twinkles faintly as the dust settles on the new world. Galeem copied the fallen fighters, creating empty puppets in their likenesses... Then, Galeem forced the captive spirits to pull the puppets' strings. This army of puppet fighters spread themselves across the last remaining world. Can anyone free the spirits from Galeem's control? Is there any hope for the fallen fighters? The journey to defeat Galeem begins...
~ The Narrator describing Galeem's horrible acts.

Galeem (in Japanese: キーラ, Kiira) is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Dharkon) of the 2018 video game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

It is the God of Light who seeks to consume the universe in eternal light, unlike its dark counterpart who plans on drowning it in darkness.

Its Evil Ranking[]

What Makes It Heinous?[]

  • It killed all of the fighters with its beams at the very beginning of the game, with the exception of Kirby.
  • It consumed the entire universe in light and remade it into the World of Light, where it would rule overall.
  • After reviving the fighters, it would brainwash them and use them to make clones and use spirits it collected to power them, making itself an army to eliminate anyone who stood in its way.
  • It would wage a war against Dharkon, doing whatever it could to kill it.
  • Toward the end of the game, it appeared that it may had captured Master Hand and used him to make clones of him to assist it in its omnicidal goals.
  • While it did ultimately fail in the true ending, if the player chose to fight and defeat Dharkon, Galeem would kill the Devil of Darkness and then consume the entire universe in eternal light once again, killing everyone but itself in the process.

What Makes It Inconsistent?[]

  • Its personality was left rather vague, with the only thing being known about it being that it was cataclysmic and desired to kill Dharkon. Other than that, Galeem was presented mostly as a mostly mindless yet destructive being.

Trivia[]

  • Alongside his darker counterpart and Tabuu, Galeem is one of the three original villains in the Super Smash Bros. series to be Inconsistently Heinous. Interestingly, both it and Dharkon come from the same game.
    • All three have one thing in common on this wiki, they are here because they all lack characterization/personalities other than wanting to kill/destroy everything.
