“ | Of all the creatures in the vastness of the Universe, there is none like me. I was present at the birth of the Universe, and I shall be there at its end. Though I ravage worlds to live, I bear no malice toward any living thing. I simply do what I must to survive. And why must Galactus survive? For, no matter how many worlds I devour... How many civilizations I destroy... It is my destiny to one day give back to the Universe - Infinitely more than I have ever taken from it. So speaks Galactus! | „ |

“ | In a time beyond time shall be born a new universe and into that universe there shall be one entity like no other -- a living organism who possesses the matchless power and raging appetite of a galaxy. But he shall be more than a galaxy. He shall be a galactic ravager...He shall be...Galactus! | „ |

His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Heinous?[]
- He consumes planets for breakfast, lunch and dinner every few months, specifically ones with sentient life and the ones with capability to the potential birth of life. One planet of note used to be inhabited by the Skrulls.
- Threatens to destroy Zenn-La, and wipes his herald’s memory of it.
- Attempts to destroy Earth.
- Becomes addicted to sentient life, only eating the life energy on the planet rather than the planet itself. This isn't out of moral standards but rather self-centered obsession.
- Destroys the planet Sakaar and kills Skaar.
- Attacks Asgard in search of the Galactus Seed.
- Murders Vision.
- Due to his constant destruction of planets (estimably nine of them every year) he passes the high heinous standard of Marvel Comics.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is highly tragic and sympathetic, because he was the last survivor of the old ancient universe forced to eat planets to live, as he cannot help that he is so big by Dimension 616's standards and requires meaty sustenance lest he endure starvation. He doesn’t want to end life, only doing so to satiate the hunger we all experience. Even his death is played for sympathy.
- He is honorable, as he always keeps his word and pays his debts. When the Silver Surfer made a deal with him, he honored the deal.
- He is a well-intentioned extremist, as he eats planets to protect himself from starvation and so he can, by living, prevent the evil Abraxas from being released.
- He is On & Off, helping deal with other villains from time to time, and his aforementioned determination to keep Abraxas bound.
- He is genuinely affable.
- He cares for his friend, Squirrel Girl, and shows moments of caring for his Heralds. He also cares for his daughter Galacta was well.
Trivia[]
- Galactus is one of the four Inconsistently Heinous characters to be displayed on the background of the wiki along with Eric Cartman, Eren Yeager and Arthas Menethil.
