Very well, we won't invade Earth. We'll destroy Earth instead!
~ Ping the Pitiless to Launchpad.
Pluto? I hate dogs! Somebody get me out of here!
~ Ping the Pitiless' last known words as he gets what's coming to him.

Emperor Ping the Pitiless is a minor antagonist of Disney's DuckTales 1987 TV show, serving as the main antagonist of the episode The Right Duck.

He is the ruler of Mars and he was preparing to destroy Earth out of an extremely petty vengeance until he got escorted to Pluto.

He was voiced by Ronnie Schell.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Heinous?[]

Background[]

  • He imprisoned his own mother just because he caught her jaywalking.

The Right Duck[]

  • He rules Mars in great tyranny, once executing a nobleman by sending him to a hole with carnivorous monsters for bringing him a jewel with a crack in it. Although it turns out to actually be just a hair, it's not like he cared.
  • He arrests Launchpad and Doofus when they've done nothing wrong. They were actually played by unscrupulous DASA (play on NASA) scientists.
  • Since the weird white device from Earth caused a bit of trouble in his throne room and tried to plunder a few of his riches, he says he will invade Earth and plunder their riches as payback. When Launchpad bluffs by claiming that Earthlings are really poor, he decides he will instead destroy Earth, bringing about eight billion deaths.
  • He sends a second underling into the hole of carnivorous monsters to execute him when he is the bearer of bad news, being the escape of Launchpad and Doofus.
  • His attempted mundicide causes panic all over the globe. Ultimately, he goes out hated by everybody for his tyranny.
  • Since he tried to kill billions of people, Emperor Ping the Pitiless doesn’t just meet the heinous standard of the original DuckTales, he completely demolishes it.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • While his actions are undoubtedly heinous the reason he cannot be PE or even NPE is because he is very comedic, being constantly played for laughs.

Trivia[]

  • He and the Golden Goose are the only DuckTales characters to be IH, while Scrooge McDuck and Donald Duck are the only ones to be IA, going to show how little they have in common.
  • He is the first Disney Television Animation villain to be Inconsistently heinous.
  • Ping was based on Ming the Merciless, the main antagonist of Flash Gordon.
